DEFINITION
● HEALTH: Health is a state of complete state of physical, mental, and social well-
being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity. (WHO, 1947)
● ILLNESS: It is the response of person to disease, which is based on the person’s
perception.
● WELLNESS: it is a status in which individual is capable of meeting the minimum
physical, psychological and social requirements of appropriate functioning.
● MODEL: A model is a theoretical way of understanding a concept or idea.
