Objectives

 To be able to construct an electromagnet.


 Determine the factors the increase the magnetic force of an electromagnet.

Materials

 4 pcs. of (AA) 1.5 V battery


 Solid Breadboard Wire (at least half meter)
 15 pcs. of metal paper pins
 Nail (2 inches)

Procedure

1. Cut the end of the wire and peel off the plastic covering of the wire.
2. Once the cooper is exposed wind the wire in the nail’s body and create a coil/solenoid.
3. Connect the ends of the wire to the battery.
