Essential Questions:

1. What is the significance of this course on my future field of specialization?

- As someone who aspires to be in the media field in the future and hopefully

become a reporter/newscaster, I believe that this course is important when

dealing with surveys, public polls, news materials and the like. Quantitative

media analysis can help in understanding the general targeted consumer

behaviors. For instance, researching about the demographics o f a certain target

audience and the best way you could reach them in order for you to plan and

execute programs well. The areas where a large number of the target population

live and work could determine what advertisements on train stations are going up

in.

2.  How can this help me reach my potentials?

- By equipping myself with enough knowledge regarding this course, I will be able

to do an exceptional work in my future career. I can quantify data and generalize

results from a sample to the population of interest, measure the incidence of

various views and opinions in a chosen sample or explore some statistical

findings further. If I can master the needed skills in order to perfect my research
 work, then it would most definitely aid me in achieving success all while

reaching my fullest potential.
