 Planning & effectuating predictive & preventive maintenance schedules for various equipment / lines to increase
machine up time & equipment reliability

and budgetary parameters.
Process Enhancements:
 Taking stringent quality measures including preparation of necessary documents for ensuring compliance with
standards & customer requirements
 Implementing various techniques for cycle time / cost reduction, entailing identification of opportunities, analysis of
data, conducting tests, cost benefit analysis and implementation.
Manpower Management:

ORGANIZATIONAL EXPERIENCE
Since Dec’15 Pioneer Industries Limited Pathankot as Manager (Maintenance, Operation & Projects)
Key Result Areas:
 Heading the grain milling plant for food and distillery along with 2 supervisors and 12 operators.
 Heading the mechanical maintenance team of food plant including 4 engineers and 8 technicians with an additional
responsibility of operation & Maintenance of Rice Milling for food plant and Distillery.
 Heading the spent wash decantation and rice dryer section including 1 supervisor and 8 operators. Preparing the Mass
and material balance and throughput calculations.
 Scheduling & executing mechanical maintenance schedule to ensure maximum availability of equipment and lower the
breakdown.
 Rationalize the spares of equipment and spare equipment and ensuring the availability.
 Enhancement of DDGS output and reducing the cost of processing.
 Leading the project team and daily review of project work progress as per the timelines for timely completion of
project.
 Leading the new product development project from product development to plant design and plant installation to
commissioning.
 Major Projects are as under:
a) Set up of new Absolute Alcohol plant with storage area (New production Facility) and project was
commissioned in a record period of 3 months including engineering design, civil and structure work,
equipment supply, installation etc.
b) New rice dryer installation bought from GRAND Jiangsu China (capacity enhancement). Dryer is very
energy efficient and getting the high cost savings in terms of energy consumption per unit of production.
c) Capacity enhancement of grain milling along with the automation of the plant. Complete milling line
installed by the BUHLER India. (Energy and cost savings)
d) Set of pilot plant for rice protein (pilot plant for new product development)
e) Mechanization and automation of DDGS packing line (Process improvement through engineering
excellence)
f) Rice flour storage capacity enhancement to facilitate the plant maintenance without any downtime.
g) Working on Project Zero Breakdown.
