THE UNSTOPPABLE MISSILE

THE MYSTERY OF PRAYERS

THE MEN OF PRAYER

THE PROMISES AND THE PRAYER

COMMANDING ANSWERS, THE REALM FOR

EVERYDAY CHRISTIAN

CHAPTER ONE

THE UNSTOPPABLE MISSILE

There are provisions daily available in

heavens database.

Heaven is ever ready to smile upon men If

we can tarry in the place of knocking. God
has never been far from men, our inability to
focus on Him has been reason we jump from
pillar to pole looking for Him.

There is no realm that is sacred for a man

who is sold to prayer to access. Those who
have learnt to approach God will never know
reproach.

Reproach encroach a man who can’t

approach God the father. No man can be
called mighty except he had spent time daily
with almighty.

“Look to the LORD and his strength; seek

his face always.” 1 Chronicles 16:11

5
Prayer is a combination of two things,
seeking the strength of God as a weak entity
and beholding His face for transformation.

“Call to me and I will answer you and

tell you great and unsearchable things
you do not know.” Jeremiah 33:3

Great and mighty things are only available in

God, it is through prayers that we shall
access and possess it.

There is no great man who has not commune

with the greatest God in the place of prayers.

Prayer is connecting with the creator through

generation of spiritual energy stronger than
any missile ever made.

Most people think atomic bomb is the most

potent weapon, that’s very far from the
truth, prayer have stopped the deadliest of
human weapon. Turning to the place of
prayer is turning to the hub of unlimited
power.

After many days of prayers, Peter who was a

hypocrite became a soul winner, at a single
meeting, he won 3000 souls. Prayer changes
situation just as it transform a praying man.
6
The weakest Christian on his kneel in prayers
is greater than the whole of world army.
There is an endless possibility in the place of
prayers. Almost all things can be restored in
the place of prayers.

If you only pray when you are in trouble that

means you are used to trouble. A Christian
doesn’t waste time complaining, he would
rather pray.

It is not forcing your will on God but rather

enforcing God’s will in your life.

The scriptures defines the capacity and

jurisdiction of men, it is the very foundation
on which prayer is uttered.

Prayer makes a man launched the word on

the situation of life through the groaning of
the Spirit.

It is probing through the human spirit into

the mind of God. A spirit man talking to a
spiritual God.

No man has ever prayed enough and no man

2will ever pray enough. John 16:24

7
Until now you have asked nothing in my
name. Ask, and you will receive, that
your joy may be full.

Prayer has no schedules or ration; it is the

lifestyle of every believer, Luke 18:1.

Psalm 107:28-30

Then they cry unto the LORD in their

trouble, and he bringeth them out of
their distresses. He maketh the storm
calm, so that the waves thereof are still.
Then are they glad because they be
quiet; so he bringeth them unto their
desired haven.(KJV)

Prayer is the cry of a desperate in desperate

situation for desperate answer.

Prayer calms the storm which the waves of

life can’t resist, it is the only way you
maintain what you reach in the place of
prayers.

It is the only substantial strategy of a man

who is sold out to God. The havens of desire
are kept in the mystery called prayers.

8
It is taking full advantage of the only name
given to us to access our given in the agenda
of God, John 14:13-14.

Prayer is the only force through which

demon can be ordered out of their
permanent residence in man, Mark 9:29.

Prayer is that force that brought the dead

back to life, Acts 9:40.

With prayers the sick are restored with total

health, James 5:14-16.

With prayers the saint are preserved,

Ephesians 6:18.

Anxiety dies prematurely if you tune into

praying in the spirit, Philippians 4:16-17

CHAPTER TWO

THE MYSTERY CALLED PRAYERS

Let us see from history what prayerful men

said about prayers. The future is in the
womb of the past that must be drawn out
like water from a deep well.

Prayer is a shield to the soul, a sacrifice to

God, and a scourge for Satan. ~ John
Bunyan

The fewer the words the better prayer.  ~

Martin Luther

Prayer is an effort of will.  ~ Oswald

Chambers

Wesley at eighty-six could still preach on the

streets for thirty minutes. Bounds was able
at seventy-five in the first hour of the fourth
watch to pray for three hours upon his
knees.”

“No man can do a great and enduring work

for God who is not a man of prayer,”
― E.M. Bound
11
The prayer of faith is the only power in the
universe to which the Great Jehovah yields.
Prayer is the sovereign remedy.—Robert
Hall”

Let me burn out for God. After all, whatever

God may appoint, prayer is the great thing.
Oh that I may be a man of prayer.—Henry
Martyn”

“Prayer has to do with the entire man.

Prayer takes man in his whole being (mind,
soul and body).”― E.M. Bounds

“Two things,” says his biographer, “he seems

never to have ceased from—the cultivation
of personal holiness and the most anxious
efforts to win souls.” The two are the
inseparable attendants on the ministry of
prayer.”― E.M. Bounds

“The preaching man is to be the praying

man. Prayer is the preacher’s mightiest
weapon. An almighty force in itself, it gives
life and force to all.” ― E.M. Bounds

“Prayer can do anything that God can do.

The pity is that we do not believe this as we

12
ought, and we do not put it to the test.” E.M.
Bounds

“Intercession” is an enlargement in prayer, a

going out in broadness and fullness from self
to others. Primarily, it does not centre in
praying for others” E.M. Bounds

“Men in the pew given to praying for the

preacher are like the poles which hold up the
wires along which the electric current runs.
They are not the power; neither are they the
specific agents in making the Word of the
Lord effective. But they hold up the wires
along which the divine power runs to the
hearts of men.” E.M. Bounds

“Is that Church whose leaders are men of

prayer. Happy is that congregation who are
contemplating the erection of a church to
have leaders who will lay its foundations in
prayer, and whose walls go up side by side
with prayer.” ― E.M. Bounds

“The preacher must be surrendered to God in

the holiest devotion. He is not a professional
man, his ministry is not a profession; it is a
divine institution, a divine devotion.” ― E.M.
Bounds

13
“In citing the Old Testament saints noted for
their praying habits, by no means must
David be overlooked, a man who
preeminently was a man of prayer. With him
prayer was a habit, for we hear him say,
“Evening and morning and at noon will I pray
and cry aloud.” ― E.M. Bounds

“If some Christians that have been

complaining of their ministers had said and
acted less before men and had applied
themselves with all their might to cry to God
for their ministers as it were, risen and
stormed heaven with their humble, fervent
and incessant prayers for them, they would
have been much more in the way of
success.” —Jonathan Edwards SOMEHOW

“If any minister can be satisfied without

conversions (prayers), he shall have no
conversions.— C. H. Spurgeon”

“Public prayers are of little worth unless they

are founded on or followed up by private
praying.”― E.M. Bounds

CHAPTER THREE

THE MEN OF PRAYERS

The act of praying is the very highest

energy of which the human mind is
capable; praying, that is, with the total
concentration of the faculties. The great
mass of worldly men and of learned men
are absolutely incapable of prayer.

Ayo Babalola, African first Apostle was

known to have given his whole life to
praying, he once said prayer is the only gift
God gave to THE black RACE.

He said while praying, he asked that God

should make Africa an invention hub but God
told him, the only gift I have given to the
black race is prayer, if they can, they shall
possess everything beyond the nation they
glory in what they are producing.

There was a time he stayed on his kneel

praying for 7 days without opening his eyes.
A gorilla appeared from the bush and carried
him and dropped him.

He birth the first African Pentecostal church

on the altar of prayers. If anyone talks about
21
great men in the place of prayers and
refused to talk about a man who connect
earth to the heavens without noise in the
theatre of men.

Bishop Wilson says: "In H. Martyn’s

journal the spirit of prayer, the time he
devoted to the duty and his fervor in it are
the first things which strike me."

Payson wore the hard-wood boards into

grooves where his knees pressed so often
and so long. His biographer says: "His
continuing instant in prayer, be his
circumstances what they might, is the most
noticeable fact in his history, and points out
the duty of all who would rival his eminency.
To his ardent and persevering prayers must
no doubt be ascribed in a great measure his
distinguished and almost uninterrupted
success."

The Marquis DeRenty, to whom Christ was

most precious, ordered his servant to call
him from his devotions at the end of half an
hour. The servant at the time saw his face
through an aperture. It was marked with
such holiness that he hated to arouse him.
His lips were moving, but he was perfectly
silent. He waited until three half hours had
22
passed; then he called to him, when he
arose from his knees, saying that the half
hour was so short when he was communing
with Christ.

Brainerd said: "I love to be alone in my

cottage, where I can spend much time in
prayer."

William Bramwell is famous in Methodist

annals for personal holiness and for his
wonderful success in preaching and for the
marvelous answers to his prayers. For hours
at a time he would pray. He almost lived on
his knees. He went over his circuits like a
flame of fire. The fire was kindled by the
time he spent in prayer. He often spent as
much as four hours in a single season of
prayer in retirement.

Bishop Andrewes spent the greatest part

of five hours every day in prayer and
devotion.

Sir Henry Havelock always spent the first

two hours of each day alone with God. If the
encampment was struck at 6 A.M., he would
rise at four.

23
Earl Cairns rose daily at six o’clock to
secure an hour and a half for the study of
the Bible and for prayer, before conducting
family worship at a quarter to eight.

Dr. Judson’s success in prayer is

attributable to the fact that he gave much
time to prayer. He says on this
point: "Arrange thy affairs, if possible, so
that thou canst leisurely devote two or three
hours every day not merely to devotional
exercises but to the very act of secret prayer
and communion with God. Endeavour seven
times a day to withdraw from business and
company and lift up thy soul to God in
private retirement. Begin the day by rising
after midnight and devoting some time amid
the silence and darkness of the night to this
sacred work. Let the hour of opening dawn
find thee at the same work. Let the hours of
nine, twelve, three, six, and nine at night
witness the same. Be resolute in his cause.
Make all practicable sacrifices to maintain it.
Consider that thy time is short, and that
business and company must not be allowed
to rob thee of thy God." Impossible, say we,
fanatical directions!

Dr. Judson impressed an empire for Christ

and laid the foundations of God’s kingdom
24
with imperishable granite in the heart of
Burmah. He was successful, one of the few
men who mightily impressed the world for
Christ. Many men of greater gifts and genius
and learning than he have made no such
impression; their religious work is like
footsteps in the sands, but he has engraven
his work on the adamant. The secret of its
profundity and endurance is found in the fact
that he gave time to prayer. He kept the iron
red-hot with prayer, and God’s skill
fashioned it with enduring power. No man
can do a great and enduring work for God
who is not a man of prayer, and no man can
be a man of prayer who does not give much
time to praying.

Is it true that prayer is simply the

compliance with habit, dull and mechanical?

Petty performances into which we are trained

till tameness, shortness, superficiality are its
chief elements? "Is it true that prayer is, as
is assumed, little else than the half-passive
play of sentiment which flows languidly on
through the minutes or hours of easy
reverie?" Canon Liddon continues: "Let those
who have really prayed give the answer.
They sometimes describe prayer with the
patriarch Jacob as a wrestling together with
25
an Unseen Power which may last, not
infrequently in an earnest life, late into the
night hours, or even to the break of day.

Sometimes they refer to common

intercession with St. Paul as a concerted
struggle. They have, when praying, their
eyes fixed on the Great Intercessor in
Gethsemane, upon the drops of blood which
fall to the ground in that agony of
resignation and sacrifice. Importunity is of
the essence of successful prayer.
Importunity means not dreaminess but
sustained work. It is through prayer
especially that the kingdom of heaven
suffered violence and the violent take it by
force. It was a saying of the late Bishop
Hamilton that "No man is likely to do much
good in prayer who does not begin by
looking upon it in the light of a work to be
prepared for and persevered in with all the
earnestness which we bring to bear upon
subjects which are in our opinion at once
most interesting and most necessary."

Praying Nash and groaning Abel Clary

are the brain behind the great ministry of
Charles Finney. These ones don’t teach
prayers, they prayed.

26
If a man who doesn’t pray teaches you how
to pray, you are in trouble.

Men of prayer are men with great art and act

that could win any war.

John Knox procured Scotland on the altar of

prayers.

St. Patrick sent all snakes packing in Ireland

through prayers.

Space will avail me to go on; the world is in

need of men of prayers.

27
28
CHAPTER FOUR

UNCOMPROMISED PROMISES
ABOUT PRAYERS

There are countless promises of God that

hinges on the ability to pray, He deliberately
did this that men may have the attitude of
gratitude always in the altitude of prayers.

God has not created a man that is not

designed to pray. Man is born to pray, he is
to commune daily to have a taste and thirst
of heaven’s dew.

Let us examine some scriptures... Starting

from Jesus

29
Matthew 7:7-11
“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek,
and you will find; knock, and it will be
opened to you. For everyone who asks
receives, and he who seeks finds, and to
him who knocks it will be opened. Or
what man is there among you who,
when his son asks for a loaf, will give
him a stone?

Here is the master giving us all the

assurance on the possibility we have in the
place of prayers. This is a definite message
that has no revoke gear.

He is saying you have if it is your duty to

keep your hand on the door of heaven.

This is saying God doesn’t withhold His will

from His children. What is the will of God
there are they are first the written word
about a believer and the released word
(rhema).

You have the whole of heaven at your feet in

the place of prayers.

Matthew 21:22

30
And ALL THINGS you ASK IN PRAYER,
believing, you will receive.”

I shall be dwelling more on the second part

of this verse in the next chapter. All things
are available in the place prayers.

The only thing that can withhold heaven’s

blessing is lack of prayers.

God have provided it, you are to download it

in the place of prayers, Psalm 68:19

John 14:13-14

Whatever you ask in My name, that will

I do, so that the Father may be glorified
in the Son. If you ask Me anything in My
name, I will do it.

Here Jesus is telling you that you have open

cheque that can’t refused because it glorifies
God. He said, He will do it not because of
your perfection but because of His integrity.

The word of God is His standard, the day it

changes, He is no longer God. He doesn’t
change the goal post after the kickoff. All He
has done is done and can’t be undone.
Irreversible.

31
He said just ask in my name (Prayers) and it
is done through prayers.

John 15:7

If you abide in Me, and My words abide

in you, ask whatever you wish, and it
will be done for you.

Even if you wish it, pray it, you get full

answers.

John 15:16

You did not choose Me but I chose you,

and appointed you that you would go
and bear fruit, and that your fruit would
remain, so that whatever you ask of the
Father in My name He may give to you.

Prayer is one of the ways you bear fruit while

you are alive because it is a symbol of total
dependence on His person.

God didn’t save a believer to be independent

but totally dependent on Him for daily
loading.

Psalm 91:14-16
32
“Because he has loved Me, therefore I
will deliver him;
I will set him securely on high, because
he has known My name.
“He will call upon Me, and I will answer
him;
I will be with him in trouble;
I will rescue him and honor him.
“With a long life I will satisfy him
And let him see My salvation.”

Here is God, all it will cost you is to access

his throne is that you make that CALL
THROUGH PRAYERS. These are promises
that can’t be change not even God can
change it.

He has a tarnishless integrity why won’t

there be great testimony when you pray.

Psalm 50:14-15

“Offer to God a sacrifice of thanksgiving

And pay your vows to the Most High;
Call upon Me in the day of trouble;
I shall rescue you, and you will honor
Me.”

33
Are you in trouble, God says dial heavens
number through the name of Jesus in the
place of prayers and answers shall emerge.

Psalm 10:17

O LORD, You have heard the desire of the

humble;
You will strengthen their heart, You will
incline Your ear

Did you see God telling you in simple term;

throw away pride, ego and get answers
without a minute delay.

Exodus 22:22-23

You shall not afflict any widow or

orphan. If you afflict him at all, and if he
does cry out to Me, I will surely hear his
cry;

Is there any form of affliction in your life, it

is time to click the heavens link and there
shall be answers.

Psalm 102:19-20

For He looked down from His holy

height;

34
From heaven the LORD gazed upon the
earth,
To hear the groaning of the prisoner,
To set free those who were doomed to
death,

Everyday God is on the lookout for a man

with petition, it is His will to answer prayers.
God doesn’t ignore the petition of His
children, that’s the implication of His word.

Isaiah 41:17

“The afflicted and needy are seeking

water, but there is none,
And their tongue is parched with thirst;
I, the LORD, will answer them Myself,
As the God of Israel I will not forsake
them.

When men deny you your right God says He

is ever ready to grant your request.

Don’t be like Naboth whose blood only cried

after death.

Open your mouth now when you are still

alive and be saved forever.

2 Chronicles 7:14

35
and My people who are called by My
name humble themselves and pray and
seek My face and turn from their wicked
ways, then I will hear from heaven, will
forgive their sin and will heal their land.

God doesn’t ignore the call of the people who

are called by His name, His ears are ever
ready to hear and His eyes always ready to
read your petition, He is never tired to step
into your matter.

You have a covenant of answers to prayer

through the stainless blood of the Jesus.

Somebody will have to shout now and

involve the whole of heaven’s armory in that
matter.

Imagine one million angels answering to

your call in prayer, it is far beyond that if
you take up the toga of humility and pray.

Ezekiel 36:37

‘Thus says the Lord GOD, “This also I will

let the house of Israel ask Me to do for

36
them: I will increase their men like a
flock.

Do you care for increase, it is also available

on the altar of prayers, don’t wait a minute
more, pray and pray.

Zechariah 10:6

“I will strengthen the house of Judah,

And I will save the house of Joseph,
And I will bring them back,
Because I have had compassion on
them;
And they will be as though I had not
rejected them,
For I am the LORD their God and I will
answer them.

The tentacle of mercy is not from a man who

immersed himself into prayers. Mercy is
100% available to everyone who can seek
the help of God.

Mercy is a form of help that nullifies the

verdict and petition of the devil against a
believer.

You are guilty, true but God says NO, I have

paid for this, let him go.

37
It is cheap on the altar of prayers than
before the king of the world.

Zechariah 13:8-9

“It will come about in all the land,”

Declares the LORD,
“That two parts in it will be cut off and
perish;
But the third will be left in it.
“And I will bring the third part through
the fire,
Refine them as silver is refined,
And test them as gold is tested.
They will call on My name,
And I will answer them;
I will say, ‘They are My people,’
And they will say, ‘The LORD is my God.’”

Even in the midst of pruning and disasters of

life, God shall hear the man of prayers. God
have you all covered if you can trust him
with the next dial to heaven resource
headquarters.

There are provision for every type of help in

heaven store house, a man that’s used to
that realm can never lack miracle.

38
Daily miracle can be a lifestyle if your
attention is unwavering on God.

1 John 3:22

and whatever we ask we receive from

Him, because we keep His
commandments and do the things that
are pleasing in His sight.

Whatever we ask, God shall grant us

because the Lord have made us the driver on
the wheel of prayers because we are first the
will of God having been saved through
genuine adoption into the very family of the
Godhead

Mark 11:24

Therefore I say to you, all things for

which you pray and ask, believe that
you have received them, and they will
be granted you.

If we can pray, we will not become prey, we

shall launch into the realm of power above
the ability of men.

All we can become as being put before us on

the altar of continuous prayers.

39
If your faith captures, your mouth confess it
on the altar of prayers, you shall have it says
our Saviour Jesus.

1 John 5:14

This is the confidence which we have

before Him, that, if we ask anything
according to His will, He hears us.

Matthew 18:19

“Again I say to you, that if two of you

agree on earth about anything that they
may ask, it shall be done for them by My
Father who is in heaven.

If we agree on anything in the place of

prayers, we have it without struggle because
Jesus is right there to bring speedy answers
to our prayers.

Fasten your belt as we look at the principle

that prayers answer to in the last chapter.

40
41
CHAPTER FIVE

COMMANDING ANSWERS, THE REALM FOR

EVERYDAY CHRISTIAN

I shall be sharing stated principles in the

word of God that have brought great result
for me in the place of prayers.

Like I wrote earlier prayer is beyond solving

problems but verbal and non-verbal
communication with God to access His will
and power on every aspect of our lives.

There are times I wait on God to hear Him

clearly on a matter, it is still prayers.

There are times I confronted demonic

establishments and satanic operation
through the power of prayers.

42
Just as worship is a weapon, prayer is a
missile to bombard the arsenal of the
enemy.

When I moved into the environment where

our ministry is situated, there was strong
demonic presence everywhere.

I asked the Lord what to do and He

instructed me to engage in midnight prayers,
He told me to crush the operation of
foundational witchcraft.

The Lord helped us as we prayed and they

lost their stronghold to the glory of Jesus.

There was no church in that vicinity that did

anything serious until the Lord brought us
there.

Through our ministry the Lord liberated the

environment, every church became prayerful
and on fire.

The force of prayers broke the force of

darkness.

How did God helped us? He unveiled to me

these mysteries I am sharing with you.

43
THE FAITH WEAPON

Matthew 21:22

And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask

in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.
(KJV)

Prayer and faith is a power combo for every

child of God.

When you pray believe and when you believe

pray.

Faith is the strong will in the word of God. It

is operating directing through the scripture.

Biblical faith is drawing your power from the

scriptures.

Whatsoever situation we find ourselves we

must hold on the word of God on it and
approach the throne of God.
44
It is taking on God on the integrity of His
word.

If God says so, it is so.

There is nothing like extreme faith, it is

either you let God’s word be honored in your
life or join those who deny the efficacy of His
word.

The word of God is not past tense, it is ever

present tense.

For the fact someone didn’t believe doesn’t

mean that it has lost its power.

I am often thrilled by the insult that some

people bring on themselves by their trust for
the word of men above the word of God.

Faith can replicate the same result

everywhere,

If John Knox brought Scotland on her knees

for Jesus, Africa too belongs to Jesus.

Prayer works when it is on the foundation of

faith.

45
A faithless prayer is just a mere noise. You
can shout in the place of prayers, if it is the
shout of faith.

Prayers should be definite not mumbling of

words, you are so sure because God says so.
There should be no doubt.

In one of our meetings, a woman

approached me; she said how come you
were making decrees upon decree “be joyful
in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in
prayer”. Rom 12:12

She said you ain’t afraid of the devil; I just

laughed and told her that I draw my
confidence from the word of God.

When I take prayers like, powers of my

fathers confronting my testimonies crash by
fire, I do it with confidence built on the
integrity of the word of God.

Prayer commands answer if it is drawn from

the scripture.

You take emotional prayers but spiritual

prayers. The enemy confronting us has a
strategy and without faith we can’t quench
the fiery dart of the devil.

46
Quenched the violence of fire, escaped
the edge of the sword, out of weakness
were made strong, waxed valiant in
fight, turned to flight the armies of the
aliens. Hebrew 11:34

When you pray with faith, you shall quench

the violence of fire; do you remember the
three Hebrews? They were so sure the Lord
shall rescue them. They stood their ground
before what is confronting their testimonies
what happened is there for everyone to see
it.

The ancient of days went into the violent fire

before them; it had no effect on them.

Faith is all that saved the Israelites in the

midst of many battles they fought. After the
battle …and said to him, "Your servants
have counted the soldiers under our
command, and not one is missing,
Numbers 31:49.

The world army can’t fight without counting

casualty but here are the soldiers of God who
triumphed and they lost nothing.

There shall be no lost in every area of your

life in the name of Jesus.

47
You see Psalm136 captured…out of weakness
were made strong, Israel overthrew many
nations who had every advantage over them
just believing God. Gideon triumphed with
300 men because of faith.

They waxed strong in faith because they

believed.

Hebrew 11 has a great detail of all that

happened in the Old Testament through the
power of faith.

If you want to command answers in life and

in the place of prayers, do it with faith in the
infallible word of God.

THE MYSTERY OF HUMILITY

Jesus is our daily example of
humility. As you consider cultivating
humility, ask God to develop humility in your
prayer life. Meditate long and carefully on
the humility of Jesus as you apply the
following:

Have a worshipping heart - Jesus had a

heart that worships. Worship and praise
open the heavens and bring heavens
blessings onto the earth. It ushers in the
glory of God. Begin your prayer time with a

48
worshipping heart. Enter God’s court with
praise.

“Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his

courts with praise; give thanks to him and
praise his name. For the Lord is good and his
love endures forever; his faithfulness
continues through all generations” (Psalm
100:4-5).

Have a grateful heart - Jesus was always

grateful. Gratefulness ministers the
fragrance of thanksgiving and kindness. It
carries a heavenly fragrance. It moves our
eyes off of our self and esteem God. It brings
encouragement and victory. A grateful heart
changes the atmosphere around us. Thank
God for specific things He has done for you
this past year.

“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as

you teach and admonish one another with all
wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and
spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts
to God” (Colossians 3:16).

Have an abandoned heart - Jesus gave

His all for us. He did not use His divine
power for His own ends while on earth but
lived dependent on the Holy Spirit and
49
abandoned to God. Jesus emptied Himself
completely. In prayer have you laid all your
plans and desires at His feet?

“Who, being in very nature God, did not

consider equality with God something to be
grasped, but made himself nothing, taking
the very nature of a servant, being made in
human likeness” (Philippians 2:6-7).

Have an obedient heart - Jesus was

obedient even to death on a cross. He
embraced a type of death that involved
indescribable emotional shame and physical
pain. In God’s presence, evaluate your life in
the area of obedience. Write a prayer asking
God to help you in any areas where you
struggle in obedience.

“And being found in appearance as a man,

he humbled himself and became obedient to
death—even death on a cross!” (Philippians
2:8).

Have a servant’s heart - Jesus was the

servant of all. See John 13:3-17. He made
Himself of no reputation. He embraced
shame and disgrace as a servant. He hid his
glory under the veil of humanity and did not

50
insist on His own rights. Evaluate your heart,
and repent of any lack of humility or
servanthood in your life. Take time being
still, and then specifically bring them before
the Lord.

“For even the Son of Man did not come to be

served, but to serve...” (Mark 10:45).

Have a considerate heart - Jesus

considered others as more important than
Himself. He was not self-absorbed or self-
preoccupied, but He was absorbed in the
good of others. As you pray, consider others.
Don’t be preoccupied with praying only for
yourself, but bring the needs of others
before the Lord in prayer.

“Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain

conceit, but in humility consider others
better than you. Each of you should look not
only to your own interests, but also to the
interests of others. Your attitude should be
the same as that of Christ Jesus” (Philippians
2:3-5).

The fullness of God can only be experience

when we embrace humility. The scriptures
teaches us this... Though the LORD is on

51
high, yet He regards the lowly; but the
proud He knows from afar. Psalm 138:6

“That which brings the praying soul

near to God is humility of heart. That
which gives wings to prayer is lowliness
of mind. Pride, self-esteem, and self-
praise effectually shut the door of
prayer. He who would come to God must
approach the Lord with self hidden from
his eyes. Humility is a rare Christian
grace of great price in the courts of
heaven, entering into and being an
inseparable condition of effectual
praying. It gives access to God when
other qualities fail. Its full portrait is
found only in the Lord Jesus. Our
prayers must be set low before they can
ever rise high.” E. M. Bounds

Pray with humility not pride in your ability to

spend hundred (100) hours. God didn’t tell
anyone to pray for long hours but without
ceasing. Stop priding in your stay hours but
in the ability of God.

THE MYSTERY OF PATIENCE

Psalm 46:10a

52
We see the might of God when we are
patient, we don’t rush in prayers, we don’t
rush to leave the place of prayers nor do we
force God to do anything in our anxiety
rather we wait.

When we wait, we shall receive the rhema,

We shall see the glory of God,

We shall understand mysteries,

We shall understand dimensions and

instructions.

It takes more to pray than most people

understand; we receive feedbacks just as we
place our petition to the throne of grace.

We don’t only receive ready miracles when

we pray, we equally get raw miracles that we
may need to refine to birth our intended
answers.

The Lord told the Israelites to march round

the wall of Jericho and on the Seventh day to
give a shout of victory that would bring down
the wall.

53
Bringing down the wall was their objective
but God taught them patience giving them a
raw miracle to process.

Note that answers have been given to their

request but they will have to process it.

Instruction is the raw material for every

ground breaking testimonies; you can only
get that in the place of prayers while you are
patient.

Do you know that a patient (a sick person in

the hospital) sounds like patience, it means
you are under treatment don’t rush out.

The reason most answers are withheld is

simple, most people are too much in a hurry
to download their daily benefits and before
they know they lose it.

Let us see these scriptures as we learn about

the role of patience in commanding answers
in the place of prayers.

I will stand upon my watch, and set me

upon the tower, and will watch to see
what he will say unto me, and what I
shall answer when I am reproved…..
Habakuk 2:1-2

54
When you pray learn to wait patiently for
instructions

But if we hope for what we do not yet

have, we wait for it patiently. Rom 8:25

Some answers don’t come immediately

but be sure that your prayers are
answered, just wait for the delivery.

You also must be patient. Keep your

hopes high, for the day of the Lord’s
coming is near. James 5:8

As we keep our hope high we must at the

same time wait patiently.

You can’t walk with God without patience.

It is a virtue to command answers in the

place of prayers.

THE HOLY SPIRIT FACTOR

Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our

infirmities: for we know not what we
should pray for as we ought: but the
Spirit itself maketh intercession for us

55
with groanings which cannot be uttered.
Rom 8:26

The best way to enjoy praying and receiving

answers is when you listen and pray as the
Holy Ghost gives you utterance.

I was praying for a sister with a strange

sickness that have defiled medical solutions,
I heard in my spirit, order the bat out of her.

Immediately I declare that you bat get out of

her, a bat flew out of her, one of our
brothers with us that day was surprised to
see the reality of God’s power.

Two days later she became whole again.

There was this young boy that we were

praying for, I heard, the spirit of infirmity
and it was cast out.

The Holy Spirit brings you discernment and

at the same time instruction to your inner
man.

He opens you to the mind of God.

He brings us into the timeless zone to proffer

solution in the time zone.

56
In one of our meetings, the Lord opened my
eyes, I saw a thick forest and a man sitting
on a stump, he pledge his entire generation
to the devil in exchange for wealth and fame.
I knew that someone was in the meeting
whose destiny have been manipulated years
ago.

As I make that decree, a man began to

manifest, he vomited some things and his
health was fully restored.

Teach us what we should say to Him; we

cannot draw up our case when our faces
are in darkness. Job 37:19

Except the Holy Spirit teaches us we may

miss it in the place of prayers.

We don’t take primitive prayers, we pray as

the Holy Spirit gives us utterance.

Pray in understanding, pray in the Spirit and

pray in tongues.

Pray in the Spirit at all times, with every

kind of prayer and petition. To this end,
stay alert with all perseverance in your
prayers for all the saints. Eph 6:18

57
Follow these principles and you shall
command great deal of answers.

God bless you, I look forward to your

testimonies.
