JOB DESCRIPTION

a. Post Context:
The intern will act as member of NATO HUMINT COE Department Head office, as
Multimedia Developer, focused on technical aspects of designing and developing
multimedia (computer-based) Education and Training products.
In order to fulfil the tasks, the intern may be requested to be part of mobile teams
performing activities in other locations than Oradea, in non-combat environment (in
series no longer than 5 working days). In this case, the travel and accommodation
costs are covered by NATO HUMINT COE.

b. Principal Duties:
1.Assists the DH Office staff in implementing the DH related projects/ activities.
2. Is responsible for:
a. Selection/ production of raw media material in support of multimedia products
development; video production and editing.
b. Design and develop visual and interactive multimedia products (video,
animation, presentations, infographics, posters, etc.) using specialized
software (i.e. Adobe Creative Suite);
c. Design and develop Modeling and Simulation (M&S) solutions (virtual,
constructive) using specialized software (i.e. VBS3);
d. Cooperating, as directed, with other offices, in order to receive specific
inputs, share assessments, knowledge and know-how, provide expertise and
receive feed-back;
e. Participating in Academics activities, as directed.

c. Additional Duties:
1. The incumbent of the post may be required to perform other related duties, as
directed.

QUALIFICATIONS

a. Essential Qualifications:
1. Professional.
Person with extensive knowledge and experience in designing and developing visual
and interactive multimedia objects.
Proficiency in areas of graphic design, illustration, video production and editing.
Person with extensive knowledge and experience in virtual and constructive
modelling and simulation.

2. Education/Training .
Faculty/master degree.

3. Security Clearance .
NATO SECRET – from the start of the internship programme the intern should
already possess the NATO SECRET security clearance which is the minimum
acceptable for the institutional access.

4. Language (Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing) .


English STANAG 2222 or B2 - independent user according to Common European
Framework of Reference for Language. The work of this post is mainly conducted in
English.

b. Desirable Qualifications:

1. Professional.
Previous experience in multinational environment.
