WRITE AN EMAIL TO A FRIEND ABOUT AUGUST 14th and 15th IN
AREQUIPA.

Hi Alex

How are you? Are you having a good quarantine? Today I’m gonna tell you about
a special day that is happening in Arequipa this 14th and 15th of august.

In august people celebrate the anniversary of Arequipa, is a special day for

everyone, because we are doing a lot of things and you can visit a lot places, like
Misti volcano, Monasterio de Santa Catalina, Salinas and Aguada Blanca National
Reserve and any others that you gonna like.

The weather is now warm so you can bring only a jacket for the nights and a then
just a t-shirt and jeans or shorts if you want.

First on the 14th a procession to the flag of Arequipa is celebrating throughout the
main square of the city and the central streets, which begins at 9 am. Then, in the
afternoon, there will be a free concert on the Esplanade of the Puente San Martin.
The serenade, as it is known, attracts well-known national and international artist.
The most anticipated event is the festivities are the famous Corso de la Amistad,
the Corso de la Amistad, takes place the same day of the anniversary Monday
August 15, 109 districts of the region are participating in this event.
