Main of transport in Bogotá

To begin Bogotá is a metropolitan city and it has a different main of transport, every day people used
to move around the city,for example to go to their jobs, schools, university, etc. One of the most
used main of transport in Bogotá is transmilenio, people have been used transmilenio since
December 14, 2000, because it’s the faster main of transport in the city, it covered a large area of
routes around the city, but it has some weaknesses, it has small spaces in comparison with all city
inhabitants, the system could be better if the government creates new and bigger spaces to carry
more people in terminals of transmilenio and develop efficient and strategic routes to move people
to their destinations, also increase the security system in terminals to allow people feel safe in this
space.

On the other hand, more people have been used bikes in the city, the increase produces a reduction
of emission of gases that affect the environment of the citizens, it can improve generated more
specific routes for bikes to improve a healthy main of transport and another way to reduce the
pollution in the city, additionally develop more places where you can rent bikes to move around the
city to help with the traffic, because it takes very little space in the streets. Also, the use of
motorcycles has been increase in the population, more people are buying motorcycles to move
around the city, but this main of transport generate the emission of gases, to improve this problem
its necessary make control of the use of motorcycles with a system like “​pico​ y ​placa​” to reduce the
pollution and generate a better environment for people.

Finally, people have been used taxi to move in the city, even so the inclusion apps are being
developed to improve the use this main of transport has many pros and cons, it's easier to take a
taxi, its comfortable, but its expensive than others main of transport and sometimes could be
insecure, also the creation of new platforms like “Uber” that over the time it became one of the
most used main of transport, because its cheaper than a taxi, its comfortable and easy to take, cars
and drivers are being monitored by the App, but this platform its not legal in the country as many
countries around the world, to improve the problem of both systems, companies should make
control of the employees, prepare the drivers to improve to make a better service for users and have
better control over routes, users and what do they want to improve and provide a better service.
