I was dusting my den yesterday. So
what?- you might exclaim.
One of the ornamental objects I picked
up was a steel rectangular plate
bought for me by Sheila, my wife at The
National Memorial Arboretum. The top
part of it was embossed with a detailed
poppy. Below this are the words
"Lest we forget. "
It seems that during this difficult time
that these words are very appropriate.
We will all have our own memories of
friends and loved ones no longer with
us.
More recently we can remember
meeting for worship and prayer at our
Clifton churches.
We should remember those who give
their services- e.g. in the NHS.
Let us be thankful for all our blessings!
We have been keeping busy by
regular trips to the park and
redecorating my flat in the hope
that someone will want to
exchange with us! Really want to
be in Clifton!
Elijah is now potty trained and
very proud!
Ezra is 5 months old now! He’s still
a dream! He is constantly happy
and smiling! Rolling over now
and really coming into his own!

I’ve been looking forward to a
sleep over at my nannas! Just to
feel slightly normal! I miss church
and seeing everyone!

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not

 Toddlers and Toast
The families have played hide and seek,
realising it is hard to hide from God just like
Jonah found out. There were some great whale
crafts using pegs to open the whale’s mouth.
They also built towers for the story of the Tower
of Babel.

One night I dreamed a dream.
As I was walking along the beach
with my Lord.
Across the dark sky flashed scenes
from my life.
For each scene, I noticed two sets of
footprints in the sand,
One belonging to me and one to my
Lord.
After the last scene of my life flashed
before me,
I looked back at the footprints in the
sand.
I noticed that at many times along
the path of my life, especially at the
very lowest and saddest times,
learning how God created everything,
including human beings. Johnny was
especially intent when the teacher told
him how Eve was created out of one of
Adam's ribs.
Later in the week his mother noticed him
lying down as though he were ill, and
said, "Johnny, what is the matter?"
Johnny responded, "I have pain in my
side. I think I'm going to have a wife.
This really troubled me, so I asked the Lord
about it.
"Lord, you said once I decided to follow you,
You'd walk with me all the way.
But I noticed that during the saddest and most
troublesome times of my life, there was only
one set of footprints.
I don't understand why, when I needed You
the most, You would leave me."
He whispered, "My precious child, I love you
and will never leave you
Never, ever, during your trials and testings.
