DANGER
Tyres with high air pressure. Risk of serious
injury or fatality. Never stand in front of a tyre
when changing a tyre or when air is pumped
into or released from a tyre. Follow the instructions in the
Owner’s manual when changing tyres.
WARNING
It is important that wheel nuts are post-tightened
after a wheel has been removed. This must be carried
out periodically as instructed in the owner’s manual.
There are two sizes of steering axle. Steering axle 200225 for
10-16 tonne trucks and 200215 for trucks that are 28 tonnes and
larger. The steering wheels are operated by a double action steering
cylinder. The steering cylinder affects the spindle, which turns the
wheel. The suspension of the steering axle in the chassis is through
a front and rear suspension.
