Characters

7. The commercial’s main characters are the actor Joshua Garcia and the product
Rebisco. Joshua is the one who’s narrating or telling the story about the things that
makes him feel happy. Rebisco is one of the things that makes him feel happy aside
from his family, it can be seen in the commercial that Joshua and his family enjoys
eating Rebisco during their breakfast.
8. The characters are being presented this way so that the viewers can relate to what is
being presented to them which is for our commercial the theme is being family
oriented. This theme can definitely influence the viewers feelings about the product
because most Filipinos value their families which is part of our culture. Naturally, the
viewers would want to buy the product because it shows a good example for
everyone.
9. Joshua can be seen eating the product together with his family. Also Joshua and the
other family members can be heard repeatedly saying the product’s name which is
Rebisco throughout the commercial.
10. The characters chooses to feel happy about their family that even though they have
different characteristics they all agree to like one thing which is Rebisco. The family
is what motivates them, because of this they all feel happy.
