Mark Zuckerberg

Decisiveness- He decides with toughness. He first thinks of the process and have a positive mind from
betting on something by using great amount of money for the good direction of the company. He
decides for the company and for his fellow workers, not for himself.

Confidence- On an interview he said, ““Sometimes you have to bet on something and either bet the
direction of the company or bet billions of dollars on something, and it’s not going to be clear whether
you’re right for five or 10 years,”. His statement shows that he is very confident that soon his company
will have its bloom for the next5-10years in the global industry.

Accountability- As the CEO, he has the great responsibility to run the company. Facebook became a
trend and most of the people around the world has access to it. Also, Facebook needs to secure our
private data so he as the owner has the responsibility to put some security measures on his platform.

Resilience- There was a time when Yahoo and other websites offered them a big money in exchange of
Facebook. It was a tough time for Zuckerberg because Facebook then was starting to grow and many
people were using it back then. He has to decide quickly but it ended to not selling the company. And for
that major decision he recovered and made the company stronger.

Humility- He has humble beginnings so when he became an entrepreneur he shared his fortune to the
unprivileged youths. Looking from his appearance, he only dresses simply. Like wearing T-shirts and flip-
flops. He is also not fond of buying fancy cars.

Steve Jobs

Decisiveness- “Deciding what not to do is as important as deciding what to do,” This statement is one of
his remarkable statements. When you decide on something, do not focus only on the positive that you
think because on the back of the outputs there will be some negatives always.

Confidence- He always says to his workers, “You can do it!”. This simple message uplifts his workers and
it’s like sharing his own confidence to them. He is an optimistic person even though he thinks that it
could be a failure, he just tries and make it a success.

Accountability- Because he is in-love of his work, he became responsible of it. He thinks of the people
that will use his products and became accountable for what will happen to them.

Resilience- In the case of Jobs, he didn't allow his initial failure at Apple to define his life. He went on to
learn from his experiences, create more businesses, and eventually return to help make Apple great
again. Embracing his failure gave him the motivation to move further forward.

Humility- He was termed as humble narcissists. Although Jobs was still seen as narcissistic, his narcissism
appeared to be counterbalanced or tempered with a measure of humility, and it was this tempered
narcissist who led Apple to be the most valuable company in the world

Joey Concepcion
