CAUTION
Become familiar with the safety instructions in your stump grinder owner’s manual before installing any additional features
or controls to your machine. Ensure safety by supporting the equipment as may be required and working in a clear, clean
environment.

1. Attach the hitch pole assembly (1) to the hitch channel in the trailer deck bottom with three 3/8" × 3" bolts (2) and
3/8-16 nylock nuts (3). Install wire harness into clamp (4) and secure clamp (4) as shown in Figure 1.
2. Place the two hitch plates (5) under the axle and attach to hitch pole using two 1/2" × 3-1/4" bolts (6) and 1/2-13 nylock
nuts (7).
3. Zip tie trailer light wire harness to hitch pole (1) in three places. 2

4. Attach wheels (8) using four 1/2" wheel nuts (9) per wheel. Tighten wheel nuts alternately and torque to 75 ft-lbs.
Block wheels to prevent the trailer from moving while assembling the remainder of the parts.
5. Secure coupler (10) to hitch pole (2) using handle (11), two 1/2" × 3-1/4" bolts (12), and 1/2-13 nylock nuts (13).

 DANGER
It is important to secure the stump grinder to the trailer
using the tie down points (shown in the image below)
before transporting the machine. Failure to do so may
result in serious injury or damage to the machine.
The trailer has four integrated tie down
points (one in each corner) to secure the
stump grinder for safe transportation.
IMPORTANT
Avoid running nylon straps through the cutouts on the
body of the stump grinder when securing the machine
to the trailer. It is recommended to use a hook at the
body and at the trailer to avoid wear or damage to the
straps. Worn or damaged straps can affect the safe
transportation of your machine.

NOTE
Cargo capacity is 775 lbs. (351 kg). This is based on
an empty trailer. See chart for remaining cargo capacity
depending on which stump grinder is being hauled.
