Product Introduction:
Smart Modular Helical gearboxes having torque range of 3000-100000
Nm in single, double & triple reduction in modular concept. Nominal
ratio range 2:1 to 112:1 in R20 series to suit industrial requirements.
Features of the product:

 11 different sizes having single, double and triple reduction with modular system
 Size Range: 125 to 400
 Ratio Range: 2:1 to 112:1
 Center distances and ratios are in R20 series, Less deviations between exact and nominal ratios.
 Mounting configurations: Foot Mounted.
 Input shaft configurations: Cylindrical with key
 Output shaft configurations:- Cylindrical with key, Hollow with Key, Hollow with shrink disc.
 Wide range of torque selection is available.
 Less inventory of components and bearings due to modularity.
 Provisions are made to supply GB with FAN, Cooling Coil & Fan with Cooling Coil
 To overcome thermal Rating Constrain Fins are provided in Gearbox Housing

Mounting Position Provision of Hold Backs/ Back Stops

Smart Modular units can be supplied for horizontal Mounting .The Holdbacks can be fitted to all Helical Units, with the exception of SMH1
basic gear units are foot mounted and can be optimally adopted to single reduction type, where required to operate in non-reversing
customer requirements by fitting different add-on pieces like motor drives. They are located in input pinion-shaft in case of SMH2 type
units and on second reduction pinion-shaft in case of SMH3.

Smart Modular Gear units with modular design and high degree of
interchangeability of parts and sub-assemblies among all variants
make it economical in all aspects.
 The ratio distribution for SMH2 & SMH3 are such way that stage
ratio of final stage remains same which unique advantage of
modularity and inventory control.
 In a particular size the Output Shaft sub assembly is same.
