Project Title
Grab a taxi/car managing system

Project Background
We always see privatized taxi around metro manila. However, grabbing a car or taxi is much
inconvenient without a mobile data or wifi that links your phone to the internet. We are planning to
make grab taxi booths within crowded areas.

Project Objectives
This system’s objectives is to provide a service that will allow the user to choose a taxi/car from a
certain destination point.

Project Description
This program allows the user to select from different class of taxi/car. Then, the program shall let the
user to choose what kind of payment the user want. It may be through credit card or cash. The
system shall sum the total of payment and toll of how long the car/taxi gonna be rented.

Project scope and limitation

The system shall require the user to put his/her personal data and account number if needed. And the
range of the car/taxi destination will be set by the company. Inputting greater destination will cause
the system to void and restart again.

Project Significance
The significance of this system is to give customer assurance that he/she will be safe. Because
nowadays, people were afraid to grab a taxi knowing that the driver might be a criminal or do
something bad. However, the data shall retrieve the taxi’s information and will be save on the
records.
