Name of the Firm

The product is interesting because it reinvents the common ingredients of siomai and put a Filipino
twist. The name of the firm is easily recalled because of the acronyms of their names. It was explained
clearly how they come up with the firm name.

Location

The proponents were not able to disclose the size of the area and monthly rental of their firm. But the
proponents were able to briefly explained why they choose their location.

Brief Description of the Product

The proponents were able to describe completely their product in terms of ingredients, price and
packaging.

Project Summary

The proponents were able to discuss thoroughly the market feasibility, technical feasibility,
management feasibility, financial feasibility and socio-economic contribution parts. Though this section
is short, it is informative enough to the readers to have the knowledge on the proposed product. In this
summary, the proponents were able to tell the readers the important points of the product. Since
siomai is a common favorite for Filipinos and many businesses sells this, the proponents add something
new to the old favorite dish which arouse the curiosity of the reader and potential investor.

Chapter 1

Introduction

Siomai is known to be a dish from China but it is also a beloved food for Filipinos which was discuss on
this section. Since Filipinos love coconut and siomai, the proponents combined it. The proponents
introduced their products in an informative way and they were able to tell their major ingredients and
their difference on other products.

Background

The background of the study was discussed in detail. The proponents enumerated the reason why they
made this product. They want to provide a healthy and delicious food that will not put a hole in the
pocket of the consumers or in short it is budget friendly. Taste, health benefits and price are the aspects
the proponents considered in manufacturing their product. The proponents explained briefly the
products used and its benefits.

Objectives of the study

The proponents clearly state the general objectives of the study. In this section, the proponents
discussed briefly the purpose of their study, why they did this feasibility study, what they want to
achieve in creating the feasibility study.

Scope and Limitations of the Study

The market aspect of the study was systematically discussed in a brief manner. The proponents stated
their method on data gathering. In technical aspect, it was stated that the business will invest in
manpower in producing siomai, however, there are only two staff who will make the product. There is
inconsistency in this part.

On the other hand, it was good that the proponents mentioned they will not hire an accountant to
reduce the expenses but they will hire a part time bookkeeper in replace of the accountant.

Definition of Terms

In this section, words not familiar to the reader were defined and explained briefly. The contents helped
the reader or investor to easily grasp the meaning of the words and how it was used in the study.
Enumerated are the ingredients and some process that were not known to the reader. All terms were
important in able for the reader to clearly understand the study.

Objectives of the Study

The proponents were able to identify the objectives of the study. It is important for every chapter that
there is an objective of the study to be able to easily find out what the writers want to convey to their
readers or investors.

Research Design

The research design was explained very well because it includes the purpose on why they are using the
specific research design.

Respondents of the Study

This section lacks specific details about the study’s respondents. The proponents weren’t able to
describe their respondents particularly which barangay they have distributed the questionnaires. They
haven’t mentioned how many households they were able to survey. They didn’t state what aspects or
profile they consider in choosing the specific household.
