Glenshire Commons and Lake Association Board Meeting August 20, 2019

Present: Susan Johnston, Sharon Hecht, Clark Ahlden, Chance Riggins, Jim Kaiser, Judy
Seyb, Lee Alexander

Call to Order: Susan called the meeting to order at 6:30 pm.

Approval of Minutes: Minutes from the July 19 meeting were read. Jim motioned to
accept the minutes as presented. Clark seconded the motion. The motion passed.

Treasurer’s Report: No report presented.

Lake Commons Maintenance: Nicki has been working on the commons area. Jim reports
the ash tree in the commons area by his property is dying. The new redbud tree is also
doing poorly. Sharon will get a quote for tree removal. The birch tree by the north dock
needs trimming, as the branches are hanging down too low. Susan reports the lake has not
needed spraying lately.

Scouts: there is nothing for the scouts to do at present.

New Neighbors: no new neighbors.

Website: Lee reports the May minutes have been posted and will post information about
the annual meeting and the cookout.

Cookout: is scheduled for October 6 at 4 pm at the south end of the lake. Susan will send
out postcards. She will also make BBQ for sandwiches. Everyone is asked to bring a dish
to share.

New Business: no new business.

Next Meeting: will be September 17 at 6:30 pm at Sharon’s home.

Adjournment: Jim motioned to adjourn the meeting. Clark seconded. The motion passed.
The meeting was adjourned at 7 pm.
