What is AIMPT -2020
AIMPT-2020 is All India Mock Placement Test-2020 to be conducted on 21-June-
2020 by WAE for B.Tech students of 2021 Batch across India from all branches. This
Exam would be conducted online and students can take it from their respective
homes in this pandemic situation.

What would be the pattern of the Test?

• Test would be a Combo of all major recruiters – TCS, Infosys, Wipro,
Capgemini, IBM, Accenture, Cognizant, Tech-Mahindra, Mahindra Comviva,
Pinnacle Infotech, etc.
• Duration- 90 Minutes
• Structure:
o Three Sections as following each of 30 Minutes & 30 Questions
o Quantitative Aptitude & Logical Reasoning.
o Verbal Ability.
o Technical Skills (Branch Specific- Pick any One of the following
during Registration)

Would there be a negative marking?
• Yes, there would be a negative marking of 0.25 for each wrong answer.
• Each correct answer would fetch you 1 mark.

What would be the syllabus of this Exam?

• For the first two sections, the syllabus would be as per the pattern and
questions of the Companies mentioned above.
• For the third section it would be a combo of the placement pattern and the
fundamentals of the corresponding stream of Engineering.

In what format would I receive my Final Result for this Exam
