COMMON NOUNS AND PROPER NOUNS

 A proper noun names a special person, place, thing or idea.


o Examples: England, Azfar, SK Sri Laksamana
 A common noun names any person, place, thing or idea.
o Examples: country, boy, school

COLLECTIVE NOUNS

 Collective noun contains words that describe groups of animals, people, or things.

o Examples:
- a troop of soldiers
- a band of musicians
- a group of boys
- a team of players
- a class of students
- a nest of bees
- a swarm of bees
- a flock of birds
- a pack of wolves
- a herd of cows
- a bouquet of flowers
- a forest of trees
- a pair of shoes
- a galaxy of stars
