Project team is consuming and producing information ( Information Assets).
Information is used for managing project activities and shows project progress
(Results). All forms of information used or generated by project team are
considered altogether as Artifacts.

● Paper documents
● Scrum artifacts (information radiators)
● Solution Manager objects
● Third party or custom ALM and project management software objects or documents
● Third party BPM software objects
● Document management system software objects
● Word processors' documents, electronic tables, spreadsheets, presentations, and so on.

Information Assets:

● Represent information (text, graphics, documents, system changes, and so on)

● Are managed on media (digital or paper)
● Can be approved
● Generate obligations
● Contain Evidence
● Provide tracking or audit capabilities
