1. In connection with Division Memorandum No. 056, s. 2020 entitled Supreme

Pupil Government (SPG) and Supreme Student Government (SSG) Calendar
for SY 2020 – 2021, the field is hereby being informed of the schedule of the
Division Federated Supreme Pupil And Supreme Student Government
Election Period as follows:

2. The Division adopted new scheme in the conduct of the federated election to
ensure compliance on the prevailing health and safety protocols of the
Department and other relevant agencies such as the DILG, DOH and IATF.

3. For guidance, please see the attached Implementing Guidelines on the

Conduct of the Division Federated SPG and SSG for SY 2020 – 2021.

IMPLEMENTING GUIDELINES ON THE CONDUCT OF THE

DIVISION FEDERATED SPG AND SSG FOR SY 2020 – 2021

1. The candiates for the Division Federated SPG and SSG Election are the
elected SPG and SSG Presidents of all public schools in the division.

2. The candidates are required to submit their Parental Consent and Certificate
of Candidacy on or before July 07, 2020. To download the forms needed,
kindly go to http://bit.ly/Election_Forms . To upload the accomplished
forms, use the link http://bit.ly/SG_ElectionForms.

3. Campaigning will be conducted through the Division Youth Formation Page,

where, only the SPG/ SSG Presidents and Advisers are the members. The
campaign strategy will be through a video to be posted on the page. The
video campaign should not exceed 5 minutes.

4. Campaign period will end on July 09, 2020.

5. To provide time for each candidate to showcase their leadership abilities,

and other unique characteristics which are vital to perform leadership for
the federation, a virtual forum and debate will be conducted on July 10,
2020.

6. The SPG’s virtual forum and debate is scheduled in the morning, from
9:00 AM – 10:30 AM. While for the SSG, the virtual forum and debate is
scheduled in the afternoon, 1:30 PM – 3:00 PM.

7. Registration will be conducted during the virtual forum and debate. Link will
be provided during the conduct of the activity. All registrants will be
provided with unique code for security purposes during the election.
Advisers are requested to assist their respective candidates during
registration.

8. For the election proper on July 14, 2020, the platform that will be used is
Google Form. To simplify the system of identifying the winners for each
position, ranking will be utilized. The candidate who will get the highest
votes will be declared as the President, and the succeeding positions will be
determined through the next in rank candidates.

9. The real time voting, and counting will be through Google Meet. All
candidates and advisers will join. Proclamation of the winners will follow the
election.

10.A Virtual Oathtaking Ceremony will be conducted on July 16, 2020, which
then concluded the Division Federated SPG and SSG Election.
