Artificial Neural Network:

If we can do what I mean by natural neural networks I guess we could have artificial

intelligence machines that can think and that can understand languages and can do all these

things. That is a nice step forward. And I think it would be good to have the same kind of

artificial intelligence machine with a human brain and we could then make that machine with

a human brain and have the artificial intelligence machine with a machine with a human

brain. It wouldn't even have a human brain because in the case of the machine I have a human

brain in it and it is learning from the human brain.

So I think what people are really asking is if we want to have a "natural" brain-computer

interface? Well I think we can do it without artificial intelligence, and for example if we are

creating a machine that knows how to do all those different things we can use that machine as

an example to explain to someone else how artificial intelligence works and how it can help

us understand and help us do things like that. For example, we can say we have an algorithm

that can understand language and that can say "oh this is a word in Japanese. It means to get

the meaning of a word by combining that word in a way that's not possible on a human

brain". Well we have that algorithm. We can tell it the words for that word and it will learn. It

will learn from other things, things like Japanese are a common word. So we don't need

artificial AI. We don't need the artificial intelligence of the brain to create an artificial AI. It

is just the machine having to learn from what it has been given and being trained with that

training.

It means to get the meaning of a word by combining that word in a way that's not possible on a

human brain".
