TOURNAMENT DATE AND VENUE


The PCA Junior Cricket Inter District / Club Tournament 2019 – Under 14 Boys will be
played in Puchong and Kajang start 14th , 15th and 21st September 2019.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT

The PCA Junior Cricket Inter District / Club Tournament 2019 – Under 14 Boys will
witness 6 Under 14 years old boys teams participating in this state level tournament.

BOYS

Boys Teams will be placed in 2 groups, playing the preliminary matches against each
other for group placement. The top 2 teams in each group will advance to play in the
Semi Final round. The winner in Semi Final round will play in the Final.

SQUADS
Each participating teams are allowed to send a 16 members squad (14 players + 2
officials) for this tournament.

TEAM REGISTRATION

Registration the 16 members squad (14 Players + 2 Officials) for Online Scoring must be
submitted before 7th September 2019 (Saturday). It is mandatory to provide all the
relevant information of all players in the Team Registration Form. Any replacement of
player from the original squad of 14 prior to the commencement of the tournament on
medical grounds or in exceptional circumstances must have the approval from PCA.

CLOTHING
The participating teams are responsible for their own playing attire (coloured) and
playing Kit.

INSURANCE
Participating teams are responsible to obtain their own travel and medical cover for the
event. Any medical expenses incurred during the event will be at the expense of
participating teams.

MEDICAL
Each team is responsible for its own medical costs. In the event of any medical services
that are required during or after match hours, PCA will assist with such arrangements for
visitation of medical personnel and all expenses related to this will have to be borne by
the respective team management.

PLAYING CONDITIONS

Except as varied hereunder, 2017 Code of the MCC Laws of Cricket shall apply

TIE OR DRAW -1
LOST – 0

Should teams have equal points at the end of the round robin, the superior position will
be decided in favor of the team having the following:-
 Then the net run rate would be taken into account, if still equal
 Having the most wins, if still equal
 Having lost the least wickets, if still equal
 Team hitting the most sixes, if still equal
 Team hitting the most fours, if still equal
 Then the toss of coin will decide the winner

If the Semi Finals matches are not playable due to interruptions then the team
who top the group will qualify to play in the Final.

If the final match are not playable due to interruptions then a bowl out
competition will be the decider. Each team will have 5 bowlers who will bowl two
(2) balls each at the stumps. The team with most hits will be declared the
winner.

BOYS

 15 Overs Format
 Match Ball: Hard cricket ball (156g) - White
 6 balls per over. Wide and No Ball will be treated as 2 runs with no rebowl except
last over will be rebowl
 Only 2 fielders allowed outside 30 yards for the first 5 overs
 Boundary 45 yards
 Bowlers ( 5 bowlers minimum – 3 overs maximum )

PITCH LENGTHS

 22 yards

TECHNICAL COMMITTEE
A Technical Committee will be formed and their decisions on technical matters will be
final. However, team members have the right of appeal against the decision of the
Technical Committee. In such case, the Team Manager shall lodge the appeal to the
PCA President, PCA within 24 hours of notification of the Technical Committee’s
decision.
