We analyze it by identifying specific learnings goals, make a preliminary inspection of our


curriculum materials and to see whether we target our learning goals and then we analyze the
1. materials to align the context and to select our learning goals. In this materials that we using is
easier for us to direct our student to enrich their activities and we allow them to avoid overhead
from ideas that they saying. We analyze the different curriculum model to know how we can it be
effective to the learners.
Each model of curriculum development is based on a curriculum that developed various
proponents. This model presented are reflection of what various authors and scholars believes
about the nature of curriculum and how to develop it.

Curriculum development models must set concepts to achieve both quantity and quality education
through a guided learning experience. It also encompasses educational philosophy, approach
2 teaching and methodology. It is the documents used in education to determine specific aspects of
teaching such as subject, time frame and manner of instruction,

The levels of curriculum implementation are the National level headed by the Secretary of
education, Undersecretaries, Assistant secretaries which responsible for enhancing the total
3. development of learners through local and national programs.
The Regional level headed by Regional office and Regional Director that are responsible for
monitoring, evaluating and assessing regional learning outcomes.
The Division level headed by the Division Superintendent that responsible for developing and
implementing division education development plans.
The School District level headed by District Supervisor which is responsible for curricula
supervision.
The School Level headed by school heads responsible for setting the mission, goals of the schools.

Identifying the curriculum models that best fits our country is complicated. It careful analysis and
4. judgment must be done first and before anyone can analyze, he must be knowledgeable of the
current principles, policies and practices that guide curricularists in our country. Also we must had
knowleledge and understanding of the different approaches on models. Curriculum is the central to
education. Every teacher of whatever subject matter in formal organizational structure like a
school or planned set up which is engaged in teaching must make decisions on what particulars to
teacher, what student learn. In the Philippines context of curriculum approaches are very much
take into consideration and are embedded in the education act of 1982.
Curriculum in the Philippines is actually a product of religion, economic, political and events that
took place over a long period of time. Colonial rules in the Philippines tailored the curriculum to
serve colonial goals and objectives.
Curriculum implementation refers how do teacher deliver instruction and assessment through the
use of specified resources provided in curriculum. Understanding the beliefs and concerns of
teachers can provide insights into whether curriculum implementation will meet with success or

Curriculum implementation must be systematically planned. At any level, curriculum requires
careful consideration of several factors and variables.
Government Requirements is the memoranda, policies, guidelines, and requirement from DepEd,
CHED, and TESDA. Also the required board exam of teachers.
The School Philosophy, Views and Mission and Core values that are considered at the school
level especially when selecting the specific content and learning experiences for our students.
The Learning Environment is also consider that includes the various school facilities and housing
facilities for faculty students are provided.
Needs and Demands of the Society can be addressed by the curriculum in the macro level by

adding subjects or contents or in the local school level by integrating specific competencies.
The Needs of the Students includes interest of them that must develop academic policies and
preparation of course syllabi. Also the general profile of the students are included in the planning
and implementing the program.
The Faculty Expertise who is the most important asset of each school. They select and decide
what to teach from the prescribed syllabus or curriculum. They must involve in curriculum
planning and development so that they can implement and modify the curriculum for the benefit of
their learners.
The Changing Nature of Knowledge which includes the theories and research from different
areas and professional organization in the academe. It also the integration of important topics or
subjects and additional facilities.

The curriculum workers is important in education roles. They are responsible to concentrate on
students behaviors in learning development. Teachers as the curriculum workers that engage in
6. curriculum development. The Principals who has the authority to dissiminate the curriculum. The
Curriculum Consultant is the evaluator on planning curriculum development and curriculum
evaluation. The District Supervisors who are responsible for the implementation of the
curriculum in the district level. The Education Supervisors helps the district office of DepEd in
supervising the implementation of project and programs specific for each subject areas.

Dynamic Model of curriculum development strengths are they are realistic way of handling
curriculum development. This model allows the developer change the order in planning, to move
7. to and to curriculum elements. It is also flexible when the development task is approached, more
realistic, feasible ways of handling curriculum development and the developers are free to be more
creative.
The weaknesses is that defining each component or subsystem can be a very time consuming.
Some issues that may rise are date availability. System understanding and system uncertainties.
The Linear models strengths is that help novice curriculum workers to understand the process of
developing curriculum standards as part of the entire process of curriculum.
The weakness of this is that the model assumed that evaluative meanings of individual traits are
invariant and unaffected by meaning.
The Cyclical Model are extension of rational models in that they are essentially logical and
sequential in approach. The strength of this model has the logical sequential structure, situational
analysis as a relevant.
The weaknesses of this; it has logical and sequential nature and a fundamental problems in
utilizing each models is the amount of time required to undertake an effective situational analysis.
It is successful in creating a model for developing curriculum standards for preschool teacher
education. The curriculum development model is useful not only for developing curriculum
standards for preschool teacher education but also in developing standards in all disciplines in any
level. This model can help to implement our curriculum but also there are some instances that we
must consider on how must it be implemented. The technicalities, the resources and the influences
that varies on the curriculum implementation of the models.
