Arepa Para Rellenar

Ingredients

2 cups of Precooked White Corn Flour


2 1/2 cups of water
1 teaspoon of salt
(Makes 8 – 10 arepas, 10-12cm)

Preparation

1. Pour the water into a bowl. Add the salt and add the Precooked White Corn Flour little by little.
Mix until a smooth dough is obtained for 1-2 min, let stand for 3-5 min. (You can rectify the
consistency of the dough by adding a little more flour).

2. Divide dough into 8-10 portions. Form dough balls and flatten with the palms of your hands (or
between two plastic bags) until you get 10 to 12 cm discs. On an iron over medium heat, roast for 5
minutes each side. Open with a knife on one side and fill to your liking while it is hot.
