Nowadays, as COVID-19 pandemic has taken the world by storm, we badly needed to be always
updated in everything that is happening around us. Media and other source of information must
embrace their vital roles to give reliable data and information to every audience that they have.
Listening and viewing to these platforms need focus and commitment so that you can get the
reliable information that you need.
You, as a Grade 10 learner, will use your listening and viewing skills very carefully as you get
reliable information to these different platforms and use it responsibly. You should be ready now
to face the reality of life as you embrace the challenge to be an advocate of reliable information.
I know that you always hear the word ‘FAKE NEWS’ all around you, don’t you? Can you
remember some of those ‘fake news’? What a funny experience, right? But you should
remember that those information are really interesting even if it is fake or not.
