    Q. Why was Davis steering mechanism never improved even though it fulfills the fundamental equation
    for steering in all positions?

    ANS. It has too many moving parts which can lead to wear and tear as well as expensive to make and
    maintain.

    ADVANTAGES OF ACKERMAN:

     Simple geometry and ease of calculations


     Avoids front tire slippage and helps in achieving pure rolling
     Easy to fabricate
     Takes minimum space compared to other steering geometry like the Davis geometry.
