HAGNAYA INTEGRATED SCHOOL

Minutes of the Homeroom PTA Meeting held at the Grade VII-Unity’s Room last December 10, 2019 at
2:00 in the afternoon.

PRESENT: ____36___ parents

ABSENT: _____4____ parents

I. Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at 2:00 P.M. by the teacher in-charge, Mrs. Ilonah
Jean M. Ceballos . It was formally opened with a prayer led by Mayrse Escalante and followed by the singing
of the Philippine National Anthem conducted by Ella Greeze Ynot.
II. Attendance
Roll Call was done by Mrs. Ilonah Jean M. Ceballos. There were__36__ parents present out of 40
parents, so quorum was duly constituted.

III.Business on Hand
A. Teacher’s Report
1. Discussing of School Rules and Regulations

Hence, the school is newly converted into an integrated institution the teacher briefly
discussed the rules and regulations of the school that students have to follow strictly and
promptly. The following are the school rules and regulations.
1. Gate will be opened from 6:00 AM until 8:00 AM. It will be open again at 12 noon for lunch. At
1:00 PM, it will be closed and will be opened at 5:00 PM.
2. A student who cuts classes habitually or having 3-5 unexcused absences will be reported to the
adviser or guidance counselor for counseling.
3. Students must wear their prescribed school uniform (sleeveless, miniskirts or any above the knee
clothes are not allowed).
4. Male students must have proper haircut.
5. Cellphones must be turned off/ on a silent mode (confiscation if any).
6. Disturbance during class hours/vacant time is strictly prohibited.
7. Offenses punishable for suspension
a. Fighting each other
b. Vandalism/destruction of school property
c. Smoking inside the school premises
d. Playing basketball, etc. during class hours
e. Prohibiting students to allow outsiders inside the school premises
f. Showing disrespect to school authorities and faculty members
g. Students under the influence of liquor or prohibited drugs
h. Wearing of earrings for males and too much earrings for females
i. Doing lewd/immoral acts
j. Throwing of garbage in the school premises
 2. Election of Classroom Officers

The teacher opened the table for electing new officers. Afterwards, the teacher announced
and proclaimed the newly elected sets of Homeroom PTA Officers of Grade 7-Unity. All the duly elected
officers promised to perform their duties and responsibilities.

3. Other Matters
The teacher reminded the parents to always follow up their students in terms of school works. Thus,
teacher and parents should work hand in hand to in nurturing the students.

B. President’s Time
In connection to the upcoming Christmas Party, the president encouraged the parents to help the
teacher and students for their upcoming event. The parents mount being contributed by the parents
helped the teacher and students to have a successful event.
IV. Adjournment
Since there will be no more items to be taken up, the meeting adjourned at 5:00 in the afternoon.
