• Cover – Split out into Cover and Camouflage (Camouflage also appears later in this list,
as splitting up Cover and Incorporeal revealed that they had one ability element in common).
•  ury Kick – Split out into Fury Kick and Eager.

• Immolate – Split out into Immolate and Prophesy.
• Incorporeal – Split out into Incorporeal and Camouflage.
• Ram – Split out into Ram and Tough.
• Range – Split out into Range and Air Defense.
• Roost Roam – Split out into Roost Roam and Precious.
• Tempered/Unruly – Tempered has been eliminated, and the combined effects of it
and Unruly have been split out into Unruly, Stubborn, Neglected, and Lone Wolf.

Landmark Chips
•E  ngage – Split out into Engage and Foreboding.
• Prowl – Split out into Prowl and Untamed.

• Set-Up: Select factions in turn order as normal. Reveal isles and place fortresses in
reverse turn order.
• Elfinkaze movement: Elfinkaze move with the same timing as heroes: before or
after minions.
• Brawnen Heroes: In Wave 1, the brawnen can deploy any one hero (if not Awsh,
they must still pay the Source or CP).
• Drang: Drang gets 1 additional health.
• Recruitable: You may attack this unit. Then, after it retaliates, you can
choose to take control of it as a minion. If you do so, place it on the closest
valid path hex. The faction that defeats this minion gains its rewards even if
it’s been placed under a player’s control.
• Market: At the start of each Market Phase, all market chip offerings are
discarded and refilled.
• Heroes returning: Heroes can return to the fortress even if a deployment stack
is still in the fortress gate.
• Stasis and Possess: Units must be ungrouped to use these talents.
• Merc faction designation: When deploying a merc, put an unused chip of your
faction’s color under it to denote ownership.
• AI fortress gates: If an AI’s fortress gate is attacked while it contains undeployed
units, the AI will always choose to have attacks apply to its fortress gate.
