Lesson or 1. Students will listen to a song entitled “Colors of the Wind” by Vanessa Williams while

Lesson 2. Form a group of 3 afterwards.
3. Let each group do the task and give their point of view from the song.

4. Each group will choose one representative to share their opinion.
B. Establishing Purpose for Present the objectives of the day’s lesson and post it visibly all throughout the period

D. Discussing New Concept

W-O-N-D-E-R-S OF BIODIVERSITY
1. Students will stay in their group during the first activity.
2. The group will choose a task that best fit their personality and ability.
3. Each group will be given 5 minutes to work on the activity and 5 minutes to perform.
4. A rubric/scoring board is prepared by the teacher.
5. Each group will be given time to rate the other group later after their presentation.
6. Before doing the activity, teacher will give reminders on the do’s and don’ts while
performing the activity.

Share insights about the message of the chosen song.

On Youth Empowerment (VERBAL – LINGUISTIC)


Imagine you are an SK officers and your task is to write an ordinance that will require the
youth to participate in the community service activities that will contribute to protection of
biodiversity.

Make a dance interpretation on the song you just listened to. Make sure your interpretations
reflect your understanding you gained from the lesson.

Draw It Out (ARTS)


Select one of the values of biodiversity (students may refer to the hand – out provided by the
teacher). Draw a poster about it. Share your work to the class.

Set a plan of action on how you would transform our school to be an environment friendly
school. Report your output to the class.

Right Move ( INTERPERSONAL)


Interview your school head/Yes – O Coordinator or SSG officer about the challenges he/she
has to deal when it comes to some factors influencing biodiversity and stability. How they
respond in contributing to the balance of nature.

Solve It (LOGICAL – MATHEMATICAL)


List down as many as you can on the value of biodiversity. Classify it base on its category.
Present your answer to the class.
