lately I have been going through a personal dilemma of making a choice

I dream of, most of the plus points were going in one direction but I
wanted to choose the other direction as it was my dream, my desire. I
was unable to get to a conclusion and with dreams in my heart I followed
the former direction unwillingly.
I needed someone to tell me that, you fool go listen to your heart and
many people did tell me to do so, but again I was not satisfied as the first
direction was more logical. I guess the problem is that we are conflict
oriented people, we don't treasure anything if we get it too easily. So I
guess I am a divergent personality, anyhow this decision I had to make
was a huge thing for me which I was unable to make and then I read an
article of Steve Jobs and you know that how influential personalities say
great things; although when your own mind says it the it's a nutty case
and that too the nuts bought from a fraud vendor.
So not listening to my gut feelings I listened to Steve Jobs. He said
"if today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I am
about to do today? If the answer is no for too many days in a row then I
need to change something."
A brilliant thought said by my mind but followed when Steve Jobs said it
in brilliant way. Its true all our life we fight mostly with our selves, in the
fight of seeking approval and being correct all the time we get habitual
of fighting with our self only. Though on the contrary I also believe that
this fight also makes us more human and less corrupt but of-course
excess of anything is harmful. As I always say it to my students that 'you
can make everyone happy and you can never make any one person
always happy'.
