Human Resourcing; Organizational requirements


To implement the e-commerce strategy, the organization needs 4 online staffs, 4 warehouse
staffs and 6delivery drivers.

Step in Human Resourcing


1. Requisition
The HR manager will file a requisition form for human resources with consultation with the
managers.
2. Approval
The OGM has the sole authority to approve the requisition form raised by the HR manager.
3. Advertisements
For external candidates, the organization shall advertise in the newspaper and
organizational website.
4. Selection test
The organization will arrange a combination of written and interview test to find to out the
best person for a particular position.
5. Appointment
Based on the result of selection test, the organization shall appoint the candidate who
scored highest on both the test.
6. Orientation and training
The organization will provide formal orientation and training to the selected persons so that
they can adapt to the new environment quickly.

I held an interview role play with two interviewees for the role of customer service representative.

Interviewee: Thanks

Me: You applied for the sales representative position. Why did you choose with this line of work?

Interviewee: I had my diploma in marketing. I think the position I applied for will give me the
opportunity to use my knowledge and skills from the page of book into reality.

Me: What did you enjoy most about your last job?

Interviewee: In my last organization, tasks were designed around group. I enjoy working in a
team. The organization structure allowed me to work in a team with people from diversified
background.

Me: Why should we be hiring you?

Interviewee: I had relevant working experience which would allow me to contribute positively the
objectives of the organization. Previously, i never failed to meet my sales target which I think I
would be able to retain in this organization.

From the evaluation and assessment of interview of the two candidates, it is clear that
