    The difference between DIN 975 and DIN 976


    in identifying threaded rods with metric threads

    As DIN standard 975 is not valid any more and was replaced by DIN 976, we at company

    Valenta ZT declare that we’ve been using DIN 976 in all written documents since January

    2015.

    The change of marking has no impact on the quality of goods we supply.

    From time to time you may still find the old standard mentioned in older specifications such

    as drawings, requests or orders.
