MURPHY for Ray Hankins (head basketball coach and teacher at Pender High School) hitps://porteitydaily comVlocal-news/2020/07/16/pender-county-school-distrit -questions-abou its racism a The purpose of this correspondence is to file a formal complaint against the Pender County Board of Education for retaliating against teacher and head basketball coach, Ray Hankins, who reported and made public the use of the word "nigger" by white teachers towards black students. As indicated in the above link the Blue Law Firm is contracted with the Pender County Board of Education and serves as their attorney. Most recently the Blue Firm sought to retaliate against Mr. Ray Hankins with fear and intimidation by threatening Mr. Hankins with false and misleading information. Specifically, Mr. Hankins was told that he was required to meet with the school's attorney as a part of the state's professional standards of professional conduct. According to the law cited by the schoo!'s attorney an investigation has been launched against Mr. Hankins for making the report. Neither the Pender County Board of Education or The Blue Law Firm has formally informed Mr. Hankins of any allegations against him. This complaint is being made by Rev. Dante' Murphy, Branch President of the Pender County NAACP on behalf of Mr. Ray Hankins.
