For the first time ever Xaverian English Language Club brings you 1st XELC National Women’s Language
Carnival. We cordially invite you to participate and be a part of this thrilling journey.

We are gonna pop up an incredible fest with GIRL'S ♥ Support us!

Our Rules for Every Event

1-Any participant will NOT be allowed without their institution’s Uniform and ID card.
2-We are going to start the events at SHARP given time. So, everyone has to present at SHARP time, otherwise
they can’t participate.
3-There will be no registration fee for the invited institutions.
4-Guardian’s will be allowed.
5- For every event, registration process will be online.
6-Each participant can participate in any three items.

For participating students, our fest is divided into four categories based on grade. They are followed -
-Child {Group A (Class 1-2)} {Group B (Class 3-5)}
-Junior (Class 6-8)
-Secondary (Class 9-10)
-Senior (College)

Event Description-

English Olympiad
Participants can participate in this event individually. Participants will have to answer different types of
questions from literature, grammar and marginal general knowledge in English. This event is for Junior,
Secondary & Senior Group.
Event Time: 7th September at 8 am
Bangla Olympiad
This event is also going to be individually. Participants will have to answer different types of questions from
literature, grammar and marginal general knowledge in Bangla. This event is for Junior, Secondary & Senior
Group.
Event Time: 7th September at 9 am

Spelling Bee
Participants can participate in this event individually. There will be the written round only. Students will get
question papers on the spot. This event is for Junior, Secondary & Senior Group.
Event Time: 7th September at 10:30 am

Movie Quiz
This event is a movie-based competition and participants have to write down their answer in the paper.
Questions will be given. Participants can participate in this event individually. This event is for Junior,
Secondary & Senior Group. Event Time: 7th September at 1 pm

Listening Skill Test

Some random speech would play and after the listening period a question paper will be given to solve. This
event is for Junior, Secondary & Senior Group.
Event Time: 7th September at 12 pm

Recitation English
Participants must attend solo & there is no selected poem. This event is for Child A, Child B, Junior, Secondary
& Senior Group.
Event Time: 7th September at 9 am

Recitation Bangla
Participants must attend solo & there is no selected poem. This event is for Child A, Child B, Junior, Secondary
& Senior Group.
Event Time: 7th September at 8 am

Extempore Speech English

An extempore speech is an impromptu speech where the speaker has to say about the topic with a little
preparation in English. The topic will be given on spot. Participants will have 3 minutes to prepare their speech
and 5 minutes to deliver it. It is an individual competition. This event is for Junior, Secondary & Senior Group.
Event Time: 7th September at 12 pm
Extempore Speech Bangla
An extempore speech is an impromptu speech where the speaker has to say about the topic with a little
preparation in Bangla. The topic will be given on spot. Participants will have 3 minutes to prepare their speech
and 5 minutes to deliver it. It is an individual competition. This event is for Junior, Secondary & Senior Group.
Event Time: 7th September at 10:30 am

Art
This event is for every category that we have given. Participants has to carry their own stuffs (Colours, Pencils
etc.) except paper. The paper will be given. The selected subject for art is “Feminism”. Any group can
participate for this event.
Event Time: 7th September at 7:30 am

Scrapbook
Participants must participate in this event individually. The theme for Scrapbook is open. Participants will have
to present at our school campus on 6th September within 8 am to 12 pm in order to submit their scrapbook. This
event is for Junior, Secondary & Senior

Wall Magazine
This is a team-based event where the maximum number of participants per team will be 3 students. This event is
for Junior, Secondary & Senior Group.
-The participants can choose either Bengali or English.
-The theme of Wall magazine: open
-Size of wall magazine: Any size
-Participants will have to submit their wall magazine at our school campus on 6th September within 8am to
12pm

Turn the Coat

In this competition, a motion will be given to you on spot. You will get 3-4 minutes to think about it. Then, you
have to talk in favour and in the opposition of the motion dividing half of your speech time in 5 minutes. This
event is for Junior, Secondary & Senior Group.
Event Time: 7th September at 1 pm

Collage Art
This is a team-based event where the maximum number of participants per team will be 3 students. For this
event you have to make the collage art from home & have to submit at our school campus on 6th September
within 8am to 12pm. The theme is “Feminism”. This event is for Junior, Secondary & Senior Group.

Hand Writing
This event is only for Child Group A and Child Group B. Paper & a Question will be given on spot. Event
Time: 6th September at 10:30 am
