INTRODUCTION

The module “Knowledge and Creativity” has been designed with the purpose of improving the
effective communication skill of the students and capable them to materialize the innovative
ideas. This module develops inherent insight into the students and makes them academically
competent and professionally fit. The course has been taught in such a way that each student gets
the chance to expose themselves constructively through various class-room sessions,
presentations, assignments, and interactive discussion. I have been immensely benefitted by
undergoing this module and narrated here how the module has flourished the effective
communicative skills and capability of an individual to be a successful person.

DISCUSSION

I have gone through the module, “Knowledge and creativity”, enjoyed the module to my heart
content, and learned a lot. The module is very effective in improving communication skills and
helps me in thinking the matters in diversify ways and thus this has developed my knowledge of
creativity. Previously, I had no idea about how to interact with other persons and I always feel
shy in communicating with my classmates and teachers. My weakness in communicating
properly keeps many questions unasked and it has created an obstacle in the learning process.
After completing the module, my communication skill has developed to such an extent that it has
helped me to interact with my fellow friends and my teachers in such a way that I could be able
to put forth my queries and also able to freely express my opinions. Now I feel that a sense of
confidence has developed in me and I confidently communicate with my classmates and other
people in a concise, accurate, clear, and understandable way which helps me to express myself
effectively and efficiently (Ram and Moorman, 2019). Now I always try to materialize
innovative ideas that come into my mind. The underlying theory of communication is that first,
we should listen to others and then talk. This was not known to me and I always talk first. Now I

listen to others’ opinions and ideas and then express my opinion which helps maintain social
bondage.

During the process of learning, I was much impressed by the lucid teaching techniques of my
Teachers and module instructor. Though the contents of the module seem to be boring but they
have made the entire contains very interesting and made me understand the different aspects of
the module with practical examples and illustrations (Dhillon, 2018). They have inspired us with
their versatile teaching skills and showed us how knowledge and creativity change the outlook of
an individual (Fisher and Fisher, 2020). They have also shown us through different examples
that how innovative ideas come into reality.

The content of the module has been formulated in such a manner that the knowledge and
creativity of each student will be judged properly through a self-assessment test (Donmoyer,
Imber and Scheurich, 2019). This will help to identify the gap in their understanding. Their
weakness of understanding so derived will be addressed by imparting them with the required
knowledge. The students have also been assigned various tasks and asked to solve the problems.
This will help them to learn the matter practically (Corrigan, 2020). The classroom sessions
were also very interactive, interesting, and full of practical approaches to different aspects. The
students were able to learn through question-answer secession in the classroom. The Instructors
have displayed different slides through the projector and make the subject so real that it can be
easily grasped by the general students .

This module is a powerful tool in building and promoting constructive communication ability.
Our teachers and instructors discussed ins and outs of the module to enable us to learn
components of effective communication which encompasses understandable, short, complete,
concrete, and polite (Goria, Humbert and Roussel, 2019). They taught us to show respect to
others’ opinions and then express our self-opinion. The different aspects of the module will be
very helpful in our Practical life while we work in an organization as a Leader, office executive,
or instructor (Goria, Humbert and Roussel, 2019). So we have been tremendously benefitted by
the module and this plays a pivotal role in expressing our feelings and thoughts.

We have also been taught how to be creative which is to put new ideas into reality. Our teachers
and instructors have always inspired us to think in different ways and avoid doing the thing in
the same pattern. They have told us that in our life we have to encounter competition and
complexity. We should be creative in our life to attain sustainable success in this competitive
world. With a creative mind, the status of the individual becomes high and different
organizations will pursue to hire him in their company (Gardner, 2018).

We have been entrusted with the works of preparing assignments on different topics. The
inherent characteristic of the assignment is to conduct research and analytical tasks with a view
to developing the creative skill of the students (Amar, 2002). In preparing assignments, we have
undergone tedious works such as analysing financial data of an organization, comparing the data
with other competitors, and drawing our conclusive recommendations and suggestions to address
the problems and the measures to be taken for improvement of the company. These works of

assignment have developed a level of confidence in me and invoke my latent talent and capable
me to analyse the pros and cons of any matter and arrive at a conclusion.

CONCLUSION

I have found the module “Knowledge and Creativity” all through instructive and illustrative.
This module has expanded the horizon of my knowledge to such an extent that has developed my
academic competency as well as prepares me to face the challenges of practical life with
effective communication skills and a creative mind. I recognized the contributions of the
Teachers and Instructors all through the module with the warmest gratitude and my sincerest
appreciation and thanks to those who have designed this module with their tremendous
endeavour and vigorous efforts. I also thanked the University authority to organize the module
and gave us a chance to go through such an amazing instructive module. I expect that the
University should offer such types of modules and courses in the future to improve the
knowledge level of the students and to make them creative to shoulder the responsibilities of the
challenges of the competitive world.
