Pearson Canada Math Makes Sense Etext
The Pearson Canada website is providing free access to their Math Makes Sense textbooks (currently a
60 day free license). I will include a step-by-step guide on how to register and how to access the texts.
*For registration purposes the student/parent/teacher only requires an active email account.
(also located in the in the mathematics section of the School Closure Activities K-8 classes on LMS)

Click on register and fill out information as requested. Parents are advised to register students with first
name, last initial only.
Once you’ve registered your email address will act as your future username.
Upon completion of the registration you will be sent a confirmation email to your account.
The next step will be access to the Pearson text inventory. You will select your desired grade and desired
text.
*Please be mindful to select the text that is appropriate for the Ontario expectations.
Once you’ve selected the appropriate text, you will click on that text and go to Add to Cart.
Once the desired text(s) have been added you will proceed to Check Out.
Your order will be confirmed and then you will be able to access the text via the Texidium reader. The
Texidium reader will automatically launch once you click on Claim Your Books.
Depending on your device, it may ask you at this point to activate your Texidium account, and then
proceed to reading the downloading texts.
Once prompted to this screen you are able to navigate through your selected texts.
