ENROLLMENT 1ST Semester SY 2020-2021

Enrollment Dates

Freshmen – July 13 to August 31


2nd Year CpE and 3rd Year CpE –August 10-14
2nd Year IT and 3rd year IT – August 15-19
4th and 5th year CpE and ICT – August 20-23
Irregular students – August 24-28

OPENING OF CLASSES (FLS, no face-to-face) – SEPTEMBER 2,2020


ENROLLMENT PROCESS for all members of ACS only:
1. Visit ACS FB page for the schedule.
2. Download Pre-enrollment form of your assigned block section.
3. Email the Accomplished (filled-up) Pre-enrollment to the following on the specified
date of your enrollment.

Surname K - Q – dvtcastillo@rtu.edu.ph
Surname R- Z – clzaplan002@rtu.edu.ph

4. If Regular, you will be controlled to your designated section and then saved.
If Irregular and you have other subjects to enroll, include this in the pre-enrollment
form. Your email is to be directed to the Department head for advising and will be dealt
on the schedule of irregular students.
5. Temporary copy of Registration form (pdf format) will be emailed back for your
checking.
6. Confirm thru email. The adviser will grant your Free Tuition and shall finalize
enrollment.
7. Wait for a copy of the Approved Registration Form (from MIC/EDP) in your student
portal for viewing.

Take Note of the following:

1. Make sure to email your designated advisers on the exact date of your enrollment
duration ONLY so that the (email) storage will not be clogged. If it is not your
schedule yet, they will not entertain them because they will be given a list of
students scheduled for the specified date.
If you will send in advance, you may need to email again. Please follow
instructions.
2. All restrictions are temporarily lifted this semester, such as:
• Allowing 3rd year in the Ladderrized curriculum with deficiencies to enroll 4th
year subjects. You may enroll these deficiencies simultaneous with the
offering. You will be declared graduate upon completing the 1st ladder
Over-load is case to case basis. If more than 6 units on top of your regular
load for this semester is to be added, some of these may be enrolled next
semester instead.
• Unpaid balance in tuition fees, completion fees and other related unpaid
dues
• Grades of 7, INC or 4 are to be exempted from pre-requisites. If 5.0, DRP
or Withdrawn, this is to be referred to me.
• Warning or Probation status are to be by-passed.
• Policy on time restriction when enrolling COE subject/s. You will be allowed
to enroll subjects below 4:30p.m.
3. For Irregular students who will request for petition of subjects, write an intent letter
and mention the subject you are requesting. But like last time, majority are
requesting lower year of the OLD curriculum, this may mean tutorial. Not confirmed
yet if Tutorial are allowed. Email me: computerdept@rtu.edu.ph
4. Graduating students with deficiencies, group yourself and have 1
person/representative to email me of your requested subject/s. I will upload Official
Petition form on July 20, 2020.
5. Enrollment transactions and classes for this semester are purely thru Flexible
mode. If there are some students with gadget and internet problems, PLEASE
reach out to them if they are still interested to enroll.
6. One student, one email. But if some do not have access, confirmation can be thru
screenshot of text or handwritten authorization from the said student.
7. Do not use FAKE accounts – you are encouraged to use professional email
addresses using your full name for authentication.
8. These guidelines are exclusively for CpE, ICT and INFOCOM STUDENTS only.
All other departments may have their own strategy.
9. PRE-ENROLLMENT with specified subjects will be posted on July 20, 2020.
