City Block Building Task

The City of Calgary is looking to build a new skyscraper. The block can
have multiple different stores or buildings, but it has to take up
one block of the city (skyscraper). Your task is to create a city
block using 3D shapes. The object of the task is to create a block
with at least 5 different 3-D shapes on it. In order for your block
to be approved by the City of Calgary you need to show how
much surface area each one of your shapes will take up.
You can create your block for the city of Calgary on
Minecraft, on paper or google slides. You must have all of the
following listed under the poster checklist.

City Block Checklist

 A name for your city block with your name beside or under it
 A diagram of what your block looks like and what shapes you used for the block (need
five different 3D shapes at lease on your block)
 A solved equation to figure out the surface area of each of your buildings.
 Dimensions on your building
 Follows Block dimensions of 400ft x 400ft
 Do all your buildings fit on your block?
 At the end of your block building you will answer the question of
o What was the purpose of using 3D shapes to construct a city block?
o How many 3D shapes (buildings) do you think you could fit on your block?
