General Safety for lifting:


1. All rigging equipment (Shackles, slings etc) shall be inspected and colour coded.
2. All rigging equipment shall be mark with SWL (Safe Working Load).
3. Only competent riggers shall be used for rigging operations.
4. Only competent crane operators will be used for lifting operations.

Minimum PPE Requirements


1. Hard Hat
2. Safety Boots
3. Safety Glasses
4. Hand Gloves when required.
5. Banksman HiViz Vest & Whistle

Co-ordination and Emergency


JBN Person Responsible Gilbert Rhein – JBN Channel 4
JBN Emergency Contact Derek Reid – JBN Channel 4
CBI Emergency Contact Jim Christman - JBN Channel 4
TSKJN Emergency Contact ‘Emergency Dispatch’ - will have Radio, Channel 1 to Contact TSKJN,
JBN & CBI Safety Managers will also have TSKJN Channel 1

A Radio Check shall be carried out at the start of works daily

Notes:
1 If Emergency alarm sounds at any time any held or suspended load must be made safe with the minimum amount of staff and electrical equipment turned off before final
evacuation to the Muster Point.
2 Stop work where conditions change that affect the safety of the operation.
3 S.T.A.R.T. and Toolbox talk will be carried out by Supervisor before work starts.
