TURN Server
• The WebRTC server component of the Media Server does also provide a TURN server, which is
needed to provide SRTP connectivity for remote locations behind NAT Routers
• On the TURN Server tab you configure the properties of your TURN server on this CMS.
– Check the option Enabled to enable a TURN Server for this CMS.
– Type in the Shared Secret for this TURN Server as defined on the OpenScape Media
Server: Secret123!.
– Type in the Tine To Live in seconds. Default 600.
– Fill in the list of Relay addresses of the TURN server, e.g.
auto$IPv4:3481/TCP
auto$IPv4:3481/UDP
• The automatic IP refers automatically your active IP on this CMS. Port 8143 for turn
negotiation is defined by this statement.
• If you have multiple CMS servers, the each server must use a different port.
– Fill in the list of transport addresses, that are the IP addresses. E.g.
10.20.100.22
– Fill in the list of external FQDN addresses under which your CMS is connected to the
internet: These addresses consist of a public FQDN and a port number. E.g.
– dummy30.panafonet.gr:3481

• If you have multiple CMS servers, then each CMS server has to use a different
external FQDN.
