RENCANA PELAKSANAAN PEMBELAJARAN

(RPP)

Satuan Pendidikkan : MTsN 2 Solok


Mata Pelajaran : Bahasa Inggris
Kelas / Semester : IX / Ganjil
Materi Pokok : Unit 1 – Congratulations ( hopes and Wishes )
Alokasi Waktu : 2 x 40 menit

A. TUJUAN PEMBELAJARAN
Setelah memnyelesaikan Proses Pembelajaran Peserta Didik diharapkan dapat :
1. Mengidentifikasi ungkapan harapan , doa dan ucapan selamatatas suatu
kebahagian dan prestasi,serta menaggapinya dengan benar
2. Menanggapi ungkpan harapan,doa dann ucapan selamat atas suatu prestasi
atau kebahagian
3. Menggunakan struktur tekss harapan,doa dan ucapan selamat atas suatu
prestasi atau kebahagian
4. Menulis ucapan Harapan,doa dan ucapan selamat atas suatu prestasi atau
kebahagian

B. LANGKAH –LANGKAH PEMBELAJARAN


1. PRE TEACHING ACTIVITY ( 10 Menit)
 Greeting, Praying and Taking the absence of the students
 Show picture to the students
 Question and Answer
1. What is the picture about ?
2. What happen with them?
3. Why is the teacher shaking hand with her?
4. Who is the winner?
5. What does the teacher say to Zahira?
6. Then, what is zahira felling at this moment?
 Come to the topic or telling what you are going to teach today

2. WHILST TEACHING ACTIVITY ( 20 Menit)


 Give a short dialogue to the students
Practice the following dialogue with your friend
Teacher : The winner of the speech contest competition in this class is
Zahira, Congratulation Zahira
Fadhil : Congratulation for being the champion of the class, Zahira
Aditya : Zahira, congratulation for being the best
Zahira : Thank you, mom, thank you every body
Teacher : Zahira, Because you are the winner of the speech
competition in this class, you will represent this class for the speech
competition in our school next month. I hope you will the first Prize,too.
Good luck
Zahira : Yes,I will do my best
Sutan : I’m sure you will win the speech contest competition,good
luck.
Zahira : Thank you sutan
Fadhil : I hope you will be the winner of the competition, too
Aditya : I hope you will the first prize, good luck
Zahira : Thank you Fadhil, Aditya, for you support

 Ask them to read dialogues and practice it with their friends

 Give a short dialogues and ask the students to practice it in front of

Rahma’s father has given her permission to walk to the mountain. Gibril is happy
