Man of the Year” for 2019 of the Management Association of the Philippines. It is the
highest accolade given an awardee’s peers in management and business.

Tan’s presidency was marked by explosive growth and major acquisitions

On the other hand, The University of Perpetual Help System Dalta (UPHSD), or
simply Perpetual, is a private, non-sectarian institution of higher learning located in Las
Pinas City and was founded on 1975 by Dr. Antonio Tamayo, Dr. Daisy Tamayo, and
Ernesto Crisostomo as Perpetual Help College of Rizal (PHCR). The UPHSD is
recognized by Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on
Accreditation (PACUCOA) as the only institution south of Metro Manila to have the most
number of Level III Accredited programs

Today, UPHSD is continuing its efforts to achieve its objective of maintaining and
sustaining excellence in education. It has instituted an extensive network of national and
international linkages in higher education and business. It continuously subscribes to
the institutional philosophy that national development and transformation is predicated
upon the quality of education of its people. It is committed to the ideals of teaching,
community service and research, with “Character Building is Nation Building” as its
guiding principle.

In order to maintain the leading business entity in the Philippines, both UPHSD
and BDO unibank, must continue to work to their company vision. They must commit to
reach their targets, dedication and focus of their management to push them to achieve
beyond expectations.
