AFFIDAVIT of COMPLAINT

I, MARTIN HINGGIS, Filipino citizen, of legal age, single, and a

resident of Brgy. Bucana, Davao City, after having been duly sworn in
accordance with law, hereby depose and say:

1. That I am the affiant;

2. That I am the father of BRAD HINGGIS, 17 year old, male, single,
and a resident of Brgy., Bucana, Davao City.
3. That at around 3:00am of February 2020, I was at my residence
when I was awakened and shocked of a news reported to me by
my neighbor and Barangay Captain Barbel, informing me that
allegedly my son BRAD HINGGIS was stabbed to death at Baryo
Killzone, Agdao, Davao City;
4. That upon receipt thereof, I was so nervous and immediately
proceed to Baryo Killzone onboard a single motorcycle and when
reaching in front of Sta. Lusia Chapel of said place, I cried out so
loud when I saw my lifeless son BRAD HINGGIS lying on the
ground and bathed with his own blood;
5. That the friends of my son BRAD HINGGIS who was with him
when he was stabbed to death namely CARLO BALITA, NESTEA
ARCEA, JEAN PIAGET, ELISEO TE and Barangay Kagawad BRADER
SAMMY willfully narrated to me that allegedly the victim/my son
was treacherously boxed and stabbed to death by a resident
therein certain PHILIP BUSTERISMO without apparent reason.
After the incident suspect escaped onboard getaway color violet
Suzuki Smash motorcycle driven by co-suspect certain NOLI
METANG;
6. That I also learned from the police officers that the suspects who
murdered my son BRAD HINGGIS were already arrested and were
detained and under the custody of Piapi Police Station together
with the confiscated getaway motorcycle bearing plate number
1101-3252563. However, the knife used in the commission of the
crime was not yet recovered;

7. When the police officers uncover the shirt of my son’s cadaver I

found out later that he sustained lone stabbed wounb on his left
chest that caused his untimely death;
8. That after the police processed the crime scene, I hugged my dead
son BRAD HINGGIS and I continued to cried out.
9. That thru police blotter I came to know later the complete identity
of the suspects as one-PHILIP BUSTERISMO, 21 year old, male,
born on April 26, 1999 at Davao City, single jobless and two- NOLI
METANG, 31 year old, born on December 28, 1988, single,
laborer, both residents of Baryo Killzone, Agdao, Davao City;
10. That in the noon time of 16 February 2020, the medico legal
conducted Autopsy Examination on cadaver of the victim BRAD
HINGGIS;
11. That I am executing this affidavit to attest the truthfulness of the
foregoing facts and circumstances with my intention in filing the
criminal complaint of MURDER against the abovementioned
suspects;
