I’m going to introduce to you about my hometown – Tuyen Quang Province, which is
located in the North of Vietnam and has nearly 200 years of history. I was born and raised there
so I can say it is definitely my favorite place. I can’t tell you that it is a very big province. The
town is both traditional and modern. I call it traditional because there are still many festivals
celebrated by the locals, yet modern, as it is starting to develop just like other province.
Tuyen Quang is a province that is 3-hour from Hanoi by car. It’s a small, tranquil but
picturesque town in the North mountainous area. The atmostphere is so fresh and idyllic that
everyone can come here to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city life. We don’t have to
suffer from any traffic problems like traffic congestion or environmental issues. We have already
had the national highway will be put in use in the future so transportation is become more
convenient. The pace of life is very slow which gives people a feeling of peace. When you come
here, I would recommend you visiting Tan Trao or Ban Ba Waterfall in Chiem Hoa, which all
become our pride. You can also experience local specialities like tea or back rise cake.
My hometown is becoming more and more vibrant as time goes on. It used to be very
dull and seem to fall behind with development, but now, something has changed. The factories
has begun opening up. It got a new lease of life.
Obivusly it is the place that I am really interested in. Every time I feel stress and tired, I
often come back home to meet my family to free me from stress and recharge my battery.
Moreover, people here are so cosmopolitan with a warm-hearted attitude that I feel comfortable
whenever I come back. All in all. My home town is the nicest place that I’ve ever known.
