Admission Process and Requirements:

A Preliminary application is used to “screen” applicants to ensure that they have met the
following two absolute requirements as required by the Board of Medical Education.

1. All applicants must have taken the National Medical Admission Test (NMAT) with a 40%
minimum performance rate.

2. All applicants must have completed at least 4 years of Baccalaureate College/University


education.

Applicants who meet the above requirements may proceed to the application process and
submit the documents listed below prior to taking the School of Medicine entrance
examination(I.Q., Psychological and essay) and undertaking interview by the admissions
committee.

1. A duly accomplished application form in triplicate copies downloadable at
https://www.adzu.edu.ph/downloadables/

2. A non-refundable Application fee of P1,500.00 which can be deposited at the Ateneo de


Zamboanga University BPI Account No. 2111-0001-42 for applicants from distant areas or
in person at the ADZU finance office.

After the transfer of funds is made, please send through email the validated deposit slip of
your payment to mandirowd@adzu.edu.ph or at panganibanlaab@adzu.edu.ph.

3. 1 certified true copy of the Transcript of records and 2 photocopies.


4. For students who are graduating within the admission screening period, a certified
true copy of their transcript of record up to the first semester of their last year in
college is required to be submitted for evaluation purposes.
5. Certificate of Graduation.
6. Original copy of the NMAT report with a minimum percentile rating of 40%.
7. Birth certificate or proof of citizenship.
8. Four (4) copies of 2x2 colored pictures with white background.
9.Certificate of good moral character from the university or college graduated.

Qualified applicants who passed the admission IQ and psychological exams., essay and
interview ranked according to the overall performance rating to meet the 50 students quota for
First Year are so informed and may then proceed for enrollment.
