Recycling 1 ton (1000 kg) of paper saves approximately 4,000 kWh of energy and 26,000 liters of water [1].

Both
consumption savings are beneficial in their own characteristics. Moreover, with the current society, they are fundamental in
living that in a way that each relies on one another’s characteristic. However, in my opinion, 26,000 liters of water cannot only
be utilized for various activities or consumption but more importantly, I think it is more vital for an everyday living.

In the early years of human civilization, long before electricity was discovered, water was present and utilized. People
survived without electricity. Although, the rise of advance technology had risen over the years, making electricity a running
competitor for a vital essential for present living. If water is diminished, people would be in a pause and would cause limited
movement. Water is needed for sanitation and hygiene, in agricultural industry and in farms, for consumption of human body.
These are some of the important things needed for a basic living at the same time things that energy can’t provide. Lastly, with
the global warming and threats of anthropogenic activities, clean water is hard to find. Thus, making it a more reliable matter in this
situation.
