1. On or about 2:30 A. M. of May 9, 2008 an incident of rape with homicide transpired at Phase III - Intertown
Homes Brgy. Bukal, Pagbilao, Quezon wherein the victim was one Mrs. Vien S. Pascal, 30 years old, a native of Cebu
and maried to Mr. Elardo Pascal of Phase III – Intertown Homes Brgy. Bukal, Pagbilao, Quezon. The victim and her
two minor children were only the occupants of their house when the incident happened because the husband is
presently working abroad for more than three months before he left his family.

2. Initial investigation conducted disclosed that there were two (2) suspects responsible of the said incident. One was
immediately identified by Mr. Emillo Lenante a close neighbor of the victim who responded when he (Emilio) heard the
loud voice of the victim shouting for help as Roberto Illar alias “Berto” a native of Brgy. Pinamopoan, Capoocan, Leyte,
single who temporarily stayed at his step-father’s house at Brgy. Balaquid, Cabucgayan, Biliran.

3. According to the witness, Mr. Emilio Lenante, he was only five meters away more or less when he saw the
suspect Roberto hurriedly jumped outside from the house of the victim passing the window. Infact, he even chased the
suspect but the suspect run too fast.

4. Victim sustained stabbed wounds on the different parts of her body and she was rushed to Naval Procincial
Hospital for treatment but expired few minutes later. The other suspect subjected for the crime commitment is still
unidentified.

5. Responding Policeman, PO3 Henry E. Bital, PO2 Lorenzo Sereno Sr. and PO2 Dennis A. Villion they have
recovered one (1) knife about seven (7) inches long with blood stained believed to be the weapon used by the
suspects.
