Closing Process Group

 Includes processes to conclude all activities across all project


management process groups to formally complete the project or phase.
 Involves the task of obtaining acceptance by the customer or sponsor to
formally close the project or phase.
 Conducts post-project or phase-end review.
 Documents lessons learned.
 Updates to organizational process assets.
 Archives all relevant project documents in the Project Management
Information System (PMIS).
 Closes all the procurement activities, performs team members
assessments and releases the project resources.
