RE: Health and situation update for inmates

B1 and B2

Dear USEC Dela Cruz,

I write you this letter as counsel on record and on behalf of B1 and B2’s
family.

Since the implementation of _____________, my client’s family has not

been able to personally visit and check on the individual health of B1 and
B2.

Recently, a vague phone call was received by my clients’ family saying that
B1 and B2 might be sick. My clients’ family are now wondering and are
riddled with what ifs regarding B1 and B2’s health status inside the
penitentiary considering my clients age and health history.

My clients’ family would really love to personally see and visit their loved
ones but because of the threat of COVID-19 and the fact that the New
Bilibid Prisons has restricted personal visitations for their inmates, my
clients’ family has no other choice but just to pray that they are both safe and
healthy.

Thus, we formally request from your good office an official update and
health status for both B1 and B2. My clients’ family is ready and able to
reimburse and pay any medical expense this may entail.

We are hoping for your kindness in immediately considering our humble

request.
